hi, I just want to ask if where did the gas came from and how it was transferred from the cylinder using the generator.Like where did you connect the biogas to enter from the cylinder.Because i'm doing a research about it.I hope you will respond immediately.THANK YOU....
You can use both simultaneously but you will need a different type of carburetor. that one allows you to use both petrol and LPG. This that I used in this video allows the use of only LPG at a time. Do you understand?
Good evening please whenever I switch to petrol my generator starts immediately but when I'm using gas it takes 10 to 15 minutes And even take it up to 20 minutes for you to start with gas then for that regulator there's NG there's LPG is it when the NG is pointing vertically up that's when we should use it for the LPG should be the one pointing vertically up
Using this other video's link of mine, you will get answers to the questions you asked. ruclips.net/video/ae79GzihlSE/видео.html labelling on the gas carb skip to: 1.05 delay in starting using gas carb skip to: 3.52 more questions? ask me.
What was your consumption like? What was your load like? If you can provide some information, that can help to figure out why. Lastly, from your consumption comparted to petrol, does it pay?
Hi. Did you buy the carburetor from the same place please? I've been made aware that there are inferior of those carburetor that won't work well. same gen, same 3kg, ,SAME LOAD?
@seyigloriousdoubledouble Oh okay. Glad you found it informative. Load actually determines how long it'll last as well. If your friend's load is say 30% and yours is like 60/50, you will definitely have a lower duration. The way to look at it is that you compare your usage while using petrol with YOUR Own gen VS LPG. Do you get it please?
I'm an engineer SLY by name.. I came in contact with ur video!! So want to ask what really make the gas carburetor go off after 30mins or 1hr, then also the gas carburetor always give hard start compared to the fuel, why??
Hello Engr Sly. thanks for watching my video. 1. Most times the gen goes off when the gas doesn't flow enough to sustain the generator's operation. If you didn't open the regulator's knob enough, please open it "half turn" and observe. By this, I'm certain it won't go off anymore. 2. When you say 'hard start', do you mean it doesn't start easily?
I think is that knob on the converter, you need to push it in so it will keep drawing gas from the cylinder to the generator, just as you would turn your fuel pump on when the generator is on ... Thanks for the video. My question is, the converter is the same for all generator carburetor and the gas hose what's the size? Can one use his cooking gas cylinder for the operation?
1. The converter is different for each generator's capacity group (2.0kva - 4.5kva, 4kva - 6kva, etc) 2. Yes, you can use gas hose. Use the correct size that will fit perfectly on both the carburetor and regulator inlet. 3. Yes, you can use cooking gas cylinder for the operation. Lastly, please check all your fittings and ensure you don't have a leak.
I used this for the first time today. It worked fine then i turned it off. When i tried to turn it on again, it starts then backfires. What could be the cause
Please start by checking your spark-plug. Remove, clean and/or replace (as the case maybe), and try again. One more thing, be sure the gas is being supplied to the carburetor.
I have installed on my gx390 engine but it rarely powers 1hp Air-conditioning nor regular water pump unlike before. It's so annoying I wonder if anyone experienced same
@@obanibimonifelix4531 where is the noise coming from? Cylinder side (hose or regulator) or from Gen side (hose connected to gas carb, carb itself or from the generator itaself)? There should be no noise at all. Alert: check your engine oil ⚠
@@obanibimonifelix4531 you might need to change the gas carburetor as the noise from my experience kind of means that the knob you press before starting the gen has pressed and stayed in the pressed position. Meaning it's constantly drawing gas. It's DANGEROUS. Please see if you can take apart the gas carb and repair. If you can't, you need to change it please.
By saying heavy load, I assume you mean using >= 70% load on 2.8kva gen. Using preliminary result of my tests, you should have about 15 hrs usage. However, details of my tests will be uploaded soon.
If your correct 15 hrs for 6kg then it will be useless on my view because the price of filling 6kg is similar to the price of petrol to run more than 15hrs
Hmmmm, this is quite strange. It should work. Let me start by asking: have you used the gas with the generator before? I mean has it ever worked with it before?
How did you know it's a quarter remaining? If it worked fine from when you fill up the cylinder to when the pressure is low. Then your setup is fine and I really don't think there is anything that can be done. Once pressure is low, the generator starts to stall.
Oh that's cool. However, as I stated earlier, I think we'll have to take the stalling as it is. I see no way around it. It's a good thing you have such cylinder, you can easily switch the gen off once it's approaching the quarter mark cos the stalling from this gas usage in my opinion can damage gadgets if you don't switch it off quickly. What do you think?
