- In this video, I unbox and try out my new DREAM Gaming PC in Fortnite. This PC is a prebuilt from PowerGPU with some of the most insane specs you can get at the moment. It has an Nvidia RTX 4090, an Intel i9-13900k Processor, DDR5 RAM, a z390 motherboard, as well as 1300 Watts of Power and a Liquid Cooler. I show all the specs as I unbox the monster PC and I also try it out in arena and creative to see how much FPS I get. Most PC build companies will install the GPU, stress test the build, then unclip the 4090 from the motherboard and put it back in the OEM box to prevent motherboard damage or GPU card unseating. No matter how careful a delivery company packs the PC it is still going to shake and vibrate in shipping. They will also normally suggest before powering up to go over all plugs and components and double check their connections. Just for future reference on any possible future prebuilt desktops.

Well his dream pc must just be the best pc on the market, so every time a new part comes out his dream is no longer achieved and he must fulfil his dream.
Make sure your cable the 12/16 pin for the 4090 is fully inserted in because that is a cause of meltdown and burning them down.
Oh and one more thing maybe I am tripping but during removing foam which was protecting GPU I think you slightly pull it out from the PCI slot. The PC steel can turn on with it but with time it's going to cause problems

Also if you happen to use a Z690 motherboard with the 13 gen CPUS you might have to update the BIOS. But if it is the Z790 motherboard it most likely already supports 13 gen and 12 gen. The socket in both of them do not support any older CPUS though.

Jerian I recommend you try running Fortnite in DX12 Mode! Since Performance Mode uses DX11 it can't use all the new features of the RTX 4090. I get a 100+ and generally more stable FPS with DX12 low that Performance mode on my RTX 2060 Super!

the sad reality with the 4090 is that the performance doesnt scale well with 1080p if you would test 1440p or 4k with your old gpu and the 4090, you would see a crazy difference. so anyone thinking of buying one for 1080p gaming, don't. get a 4080 or a 4070 when its out.
3070ti is the absolute MAX if just for 1080 gaming.

The motherboard is NOT Z390 purely because only Z690 and Z790 support 12 gen and 13 gen CPUS

I wish you would have bought the 7950x from AMD since it is actually better in fortnite than Intel's 13900k, but it is a little cheaper, although the Black Friday deals were great for AMD this year.
Still, it is a really good CPU and is equal to AMD's, just a little better and worse in different situations that mostly don't even matter, but since you always play Fortnite, AMD would have been a little better, still happy for you.

13900k beats the 7950x in fortnite. Although fortnite uses GPU more than CPU so cpu doesn't play much role.

Jerian it takes so long to boot up because of the ddr5. The first time you boot up a ddr5 ram pc it can take 3 and a half mins to load, and your monitor will have a black screen the whole time. Not very consumer friendly but once it’s running the performance pays off…

Hey jerian, ive been having some issues with fortnite and I though you would maybe be able to help.
When I load up fortnite everything is normal, but when I load into creative or arena, or something, i get disconnected and the error code is " You were removed from the match due to internet lag, your IP or machine, VPN usage, or cheating. We recommend not utilizing VPN or proxy services whille attempting to play fortnite."
Ive never cheated in fortnite b4 so idk why its saying this. I dont have a vpn either. The worst thing ive ever done is get an unlock tool in warzone, but I didnt have fortnite installed back then.

Jerian, I highly reccomend going to the gym. If you have any anxiety it helps alot. You also said you never leave your house and I think humans werent designed to live like that so, take some time out of your day to workout for an hour.
