They didn't just remake the gameplay itself, but also remixed the music overall. Some music is still the same of all the games, but some of the bigger ones were remixed.
@@DiamondDust132 Yes! The remix arrangements get too much hate. I mean, some of them do end up weaker than the original, but I think somber tracks in particular really benefits from having a live orchestra (such as Kairi's and Roxas' themes)

Because the 1.5 remix version of 358/2 Days was half assed garbage all around.
