I keep forgetting that he's acting and he has a script. Most naturally gifted actor you will ever see on any sitcom. Leonard Rossiter will always be missed.
You just know that he worked on this at home over and over to get it right. It was this kind of intensity and commitment that fuelled his greatest performances - and, sadly, probably contributed to his death. What a great actor.
The talent is so astounding makes it look so effortless when u enter a room haha just how he says room reeks of sophistication haha what a genius and richard beckinsales face lol priceless
I feel privileged and thankful I grew up to the bril!isn't sitcoms from the wonderful 1970s,...we were spoilt at the time , from Rising Damp to Porridge, ...On the Buses,...Open All Hours,..Fawlty Towers, Dads Army, Bless this House,.Steptoe and Son,...etc.......the list goes on and on .......political correctness destroyed the very fabrics of classic sitcom writing in this country.....it was the death of real comedy,...so what classic offerings do we have in 2020....let me think...eh....maybe..........no nothing that comes anywhere near those classics from way back....miss those times,...great memories
Peter Serafinowicz and Smersh Pod brought me here, and they are right: Ralph Fiennes sometimes looks, acts and sounds like Leonard Rossiter. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Maybe you could make a video? *There's a volume control on your viewing device, you can even add extra speakers, if your hearing's shot from shouting; they're VERY USEFUL.
Doesn't get any better than that, what an actor. Forever remembered Leonard Rossiter
Absolutely
Legend gone too soon
I've just watched Ralph Fienes in Macbeth on the stage tonight. Couldn't get Len Rossiter out of my head.
I know just what you mean!
Great comedy, brilliant actor. Timeless classics 🤣.

Watch a genius at work, the world was robbed by two untimely deaths RIP gentleman, however Leonard Rossiter was on a different level.
No finer comedy actor than This Guy!
Just watching it now in 2021, brilliant
Hahahaha am dying laughing
Absoloutly brilliant
No swearing or filth required
Just a total well meaning pillock 😂 ohhhh Miss Jooones
made a few Rising Damp GIFS as there were none, classic!
When I've finished laughing hysterically and enjoying Rising Damp, I think I'll calm myself down with a serious drama such as Not Going Out 🙄
Genius in my book 😂👍👌

Rigsby a classic, you aynt getting humour like this no more, why I don't watch tv today much.
No greater comic genius.
What a Genius !
absolute classic ..
A masterclass...
Legend
Classic comedy clip.
Always felt Leonard was underated as an actor.
Not in my book.. so sharp ... hard to keep up with him .. sarcasm at its best 👌 👍 😁😁
I bet Richard was cracking up and they had to do many retakes. No way he would sit straight faced through that performance .
If you turn up the volume for this be careful to turn it back down before watching something else.
Shoot your cuffs when entering a room, genius acting from Leonard rossiter, oh we live in woke madness, rising damp never made today, oh vienna
Clip from series 3 episode 6 - The Cocktail Hour
Unfortunately you did not adjust the sound, and it is not LOUD ENOUGH.
