You use Retin-A and NO SUNSCREEN the next day!! No, Rachel!! If sunscreens break you out, try using a moisturizer that has spf in it. Olay Whips are a great affordable option and they have 3 varieties to choose from. You can also use Murad, Supergoop, and Shiseido sunscreens, but they are more elite brands.
Cute Renee not wearing sunscreen indoors is one of the biggest skincare misconception. you still need sunscreen even at home as the sunrays penetrate through windows 😊
Hey guys!! Thank you for stopping by! I'm doing an updated Skincare Routine today because I've had a ton of requests for an updated concise version of what I'm currently doing... I do plan to dive back into more of a variety of videos in the coming weeks.. My boys just started school, so I've been getting back into the swing of my own routine.. As always, thank you for watching my channel!
Thank you for the honesty about the sunscreen!! I am the same way. Every single one makes me break out! Your videos are so soothing. Love your channel!
I'm an Esthetician as well! Sunscreens make me break out big time! I am obsessed with the Heliocare Mineral SPF 50. Smells amazing and doesn't break me out. It's very lightweight, sinks in very fast. It does not leave you with a powdery white cast. It's perfection!!! The entire Heliocare line is FANTASTIC!!!
You have the most incredible skin! I'm trying to up my skin-care to have clearer, more even skin like this, but I just haven't found anything that makes a big difference. My diet is relatively good and I drink a lot of water. Who knows!
I wouldnt exfoliate, thats actually pretty Bad. If you can afford it you should go to a beautician to help with pimples. But, Not gonna lie, that didnt cut it for me. I drink 2-3 Liters of water everyday, exercise regulary and eat healthy (overall). Also i simplified my Routine, one cleanser and one Creme and thats it. It really got better over the years. And dont punish yourself, if your Skin gets bad again. Sometimes it has to do with Stress. 🌠
Rachel, you make everything look so effortless. Thank you for continuing to share your tips and tricks with us over the years! You're so genuine. Much love, light, peace and blessings to you and the fam!! 🙏🏼😚💛
Ahh! You made a morning or hair routine a couple years ago and I used the tips from that video to this day. Specifically, you shared that when you wear your hair wavy, you curl parts of the hair that fall flat. Game changing. Just rediscovered your channel after you commented on Ingrid’s last video. Seeing your channel again made my heart happy. Instantly subscribed! (Note: I went on a hiatus from YT and changed my account so lost my subscriptions, but was subscribed previously 🙂) .
I would love to see a video on how you keep your legs so smooth and even toned without any razor bumps! Love your videos, thanks for sharing such quality content! ✨💕🌸
The spf in cc, bb or moisturizer don't work. You should apply 30 ml of this products to your face for them to protect you from sun but we apply only 5-6 ml :( I think you can try sunscreens of Korean brands since they use good ingredients to not irritate skin. I reccommend you Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream, I think you'll like it that's for sensitive skin so it won't cause break outs I think 💗 And also Missha is famous with their very very good sun screens, I really like them too. You can look sun screens of Klairs and Huxley too, they're really good. You can find Klairs, Huxley and Cosrx products in web site Korendy Global and you can find Missha's products in their own web site. Also I guess you can find Cosrx products in Sephora or Ulta Beauty?? I'm not really sure but I hope that will help you ❤❤
Looked it up myself cause I'm very allergic to the sun🙁but it's way too$$think people who market this stuff do it on purpose cause they know alot of people go swimming and spend time outdoors. I'm better off w the usuall drug store kind,it may not be organic or green but it works and its economical.this is what your usual middle class people need. Actually if you download the Ali Express app (stuff shipped in from china) its 1/8 the cost, compared to amazon.w all the other retailer stores your pretty much paying middle man cost.they have this sunscreen on there at 1/8 of the cost.even organic ones are way cheaper😃
Try the supergoop X Rebecca Taylor Defense Refresh Setting Mist it has an Spf of 50 and it's really light so you can (and should) apply it multiple times per day. Also, the consultant at Sephora told me that he applies it in 3 different motions, an "X", an "O", and once all over, just because it IS so light that you could miss a spot and not know. But this should help if your worried about breakouts from too heavy a cream! And it's got a nice light lavender smell to it, it doesn't even smell like sunscreen!
Hey Rachel! I too have pretty sensitive skin that breaks out from a lot of sunscreens. I have been using the Darphin Intral Environmental Lightweight Shield SPF 50. It is perfect for sensitive skin. I highly recommend it.
Have you tried sunscreen from Coola? I've been using the Mineral Sun Silk Creme SPF 30 for a year now and it hasn't broken me out. It does leave a slight white cast because of the zinc oxide and pills just a bit, but it doesn't leave a sticky or greasy feeling after application. They also don't use harmful ingredients like oxybenzone or octinoxate as their sunscreen since they can damage the ocean and coral reefs once washed off. Love your skin care and hair videos!
Ηey Rachel! Nice video. I enjoyed it,as always. It's pretty important to wear sunscreen. I break out a lot from any kind of sunscreen too. The thing is, if you take time to moisturize and hydrate your face with all these creams and serums, you are automatically make your skin MORE sensitive to the sun. Thank you for sharing your routine! xx
The Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Sunscreen is the best thing I've ever tried. Changed my life because I would never wear sunscreen either due to breaking out. Try it! : )
I have extremely acne prone skin and I use the sun bum facial sunscreen spf 30. It’s never broken me out or clogged my pores, it’s nourishing and has no cast. Another good one is CeraVe baby sunscreen. It has a cast but it tends to skin in and go away after like 30 minutes.
Could the reason that sunscreen is breaking you out be because you’re not removing it properly? Try removing your sunscreen with a oil cleanser before your water based cleanser, I’ve found that it helps. You could also be sensitive to chemical filters most chemical sunscreens use the same ones. Maybe look into sunscreens with different chemical filters or try a mineral sunscreen. Mineral sunscreen is recommended for sensitive skin but the draw back is that most have a white cast. I would check out the blog Snow White and The Asian Pear she reacts badly to sunscreen but has found one that works for her. I also highly recommend Gothamista on RUclips she has multiple videos on sunscreen both chemical and physical/mineral. I hope this is helpful 😊.
I love how honest you are and sense of humor. Your lips look funny, you reminded me of Jessica Rabbit. I really need to try the dry brushing, I heard it really reduces cellulite. Can't wait for your fall videos
Hi my friend! Loved this video as all you do! I just started looking into my skin care as well! Usually I go in the nude with my face, but as I get old...er, lol. I am looking into trying something. Love seeing glimpses of your decor and mirror. You should do decor vids as I love those, lol. Just suggestion. TFS! Many Blessings! ❤️💕❤️💕
You need sunscreen! I also break out easily and highly recommend the follow sunscreens: Elta MD, CeraVe, Banana Boat Kids or Sensitive Skin versions. I prioritize sunscreen over all my other skin products. There is no point in doing all that other stuff if you aren't preventing damage in the first place!
Elta MD SPF, skin medica and Revision all have remarkable sunscreens that shouldn’t make u break out. I’m an aesthetician and if my client won’t wear an spf I won’t even put them on a tretinoin or retinol because that’s a no no!
Love this video 😍 thank you, just out of interest what is the difference in retin a and retinol? Other than one from a doctor and the other is over counter. Also if I was to use a retinol would you suggest to use moisturizer always on top of it? And would a retinol be safe to use on the crows feet area of the eye? And what percentage is good to start off with? Sorry for all the questions 😂
Thank you Rachel to share with us your rituals.. I have question : what are you using to hair removal for your leg, arms etc.. ? did you try laser hair removal ? I thank you in advance
Marlene Santos aw thanks girl!!! With a name like that.. I would think you were Portuguese.... Ps my maiden name is Santos lol.. we might be related ha ha.
Is it common to have detox symptoms after dry brushing? Do I need to change the type of brush I'm using or will those go away after awhile? And how often do you dry brush?
I like your arm candy combo. haha. I loved Myspace. It took me forever to move to FB. I had acne from the age of 10-30 & the dermatologist gave me retin-A for it.
You should do a decorate for fall video. I always loved the ones you did in the past.
You use Retin-A and NO SUNSCREEN the next day!! No, Rachel!!

She does work on her property outdoors.
But the human body also needs vitamin d to stay healthy
Retin A and no SPF, please don’t! You are blessed with good genes and your skin is gorgeous, SPF is so important.
Thank you for the tips.
Can u plz talk about hair removal (facial /body hair)?
Greetings from Morocco
Yes racheal ..pls

Elena Wells exfoliate regularly, oats (as a mask) really works for me, it literally makess me lose all my impurities and uneven skin tone

So nice to see your beauty routines. You look so beautiful Rachel! 💕 Always love to you 💕
I love how honest you were accepting that you don’t wear sunscreen on a daily. I’ll suggest you trying the Cotz brand.
It's always a pleasure to watch ur videos.. especially self care one's..💖

If typical sunscreens break you out, then try Suntegrity, Supergoop, or a matte sunscreen from somewhere like Dermalogica
I love your content, but your videos are so relaxing to watch as well~I only watch RUclips /anything at night, so that is perfect🥰
