As a Telugu speaking guy, I am so happy to say that "Yes, we're down south industry where we make films which being appreciated by people across the globe". Be it, Bahubali or KGF or RRR or films from Malayalam film industry or the Tamil Industry. Because this wasn't the case earlier. I still remember while I was a kid, they never used to say Indian Film Industry. They simply say Bollywood.
And now they say , an Indian Film. It's about the content or the story telling that makes the audiences sit as long as film runs on the screen. And I'm really glad that time has mentioned again and again that come with good story, people are there to appreciate.
back in times.. they see south movies as regional industry and bollywood as national Industry... we south Indians really shown how to pay respect to all Industry Talents And Culture.
Prashant Neel sir still hasn't realised his potential. He is going to be the legendary director in the world.

Success is not new to Kannada industry. We have seen the best of the movies during 60's to 80's only to slow down in the 90's. Any film industry will have it's rough patch which even we went through only to come back stronger!

Kannada movie Will go bigger places if directors like Rishab shetty, Prasanth neel, suri become the first priority of big hero's rather than trash cans like nanda kishore, Chetan kumar. And actors like dhruva sarja(Balakrishna of sandalwood) should not attain the status of tier 1 hero in kannada.

Sir I believe the KGF1 was a hug hit because it has that genuine original feel which you had in mind, and didn't do any unnecessary chnages like nowadays directors are doin for PAN Indian films.

Although due to lack of social media, not much attention has been given to how Shankar took south movies PAN India. Hopefully he makes a strong comeback with RC15

You don't hear it from people in the art world, makes you respect him more. I get it, I keep saying I am passionate about what I do too. But like hell I would be doing it if there was no money in it.
Liked what he said about working only with stars too. He is grounded, knows his limits. I feel he has got more credibility than he thinks he has, but its true as a product the cinema makes money because of the stars too. He needs that star power right now.
He's really talented, his visuals are top notch, nobody shown a commercial film the way he has. just need to hire a better dialogue writer though.
