That cake is GORGEOUS! Wow! So striking! I just cannot imagine creating something like that! Thank you so much for these three great tips, and for the inspiration!
Thanks so much 😊
People keep saying microwave but I don't have one 😒 so glad u had different methods!
I always love your tips and tricks on baking. Red is not my favorite color but yours came out truly elegant. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
Thank you so much!
Here in Argentina we have dulce de leche, some bakers mix first red with dulce de leche and then mix with cream. Also mix first with orange and then red, thats supposed to work too, I never tried though
So cool, what a good idea!
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for sharing!😍😍😍
No problem 😊
Good video. I've always had trouble getting a good red.
How do we get bright red color for whipped cream frosting
I use the immersion blender method.
Thanks for this helpful video.
Glad it was helpful!
I had the same problem with my Halloween Vampire Cake using the black colour. After applying the black frosting on the cake it wasn’t quite that full Black colour. Just by accident I had placed my piping bag in the fridge for 40 minutes and began the finishing touches. I noticed the finishing touches, such as the rosettes, are now a dark black colour. Thanks for sharing. Now I know the method works for Red too. Good to know- Cheers ! Chef Bari
Good to know ut works with black !
❤
Thank you. I'm still unsure as you didn't put the chained buttercreams against the initial colour.
Brilliant idea, Can I ask where you bought your food colour gel please 🙏
I'm in the US and I used Chefmaster for this tutorial
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Does the microwave method work with black too?
Yep!
@@BritishGirlBakes thanks! Found your other video on the topic of bold colors too. Great advice!
❤❤😍😍👍👍
Red is a very difficult color. One wonders if the same techniques apply to blue and green.
@NicholasStein - I’ve done both the microwave (and double boiler for larger amounts of frosting) for red, blue & green, and they work well for all 3 colors getting the vibrant shade of each that I need.
And the trick with a drop o yellow for make red bright?
Won't that give you an orange? I suppose a tiny drop might help though. I shall try this.
