The first spiritual experience that I had, that I can think of, happened during a trip to the Grand Canyon when I was 10 years old. My mom bought a native american CD from a gift shop called Ah-Nee-Mah, I remember she played it during the night while we drove through the pine trees. I watched the headlights illuminate the trees on the dark road while I laid back in my seat, the music filled me in a way that had never happened to me before... the music filled me, connected me to the spirit of the desert landscape that we were a part of. These are the 1st songs that I've come across that has been able to create that same feeling in me once again, I am 31 now... I can't say that this music sounds the same, it's just the way it made me feel that is so easily recognizable. I don't know what that is or where it comes from, but thank you.
