- After many requests, here it is, a cozy crackling fire with the comforting sounds of thunder only! So this time the rain and wind are left out, because some of you out there were a little bit creeped out by especially the howling wind ;)

Perfect, I have been trying to find a decent one that doesn’t hurt my ears or jolt me out of a dead sleep for a while. I don’t want to hear crickets or howling wind and as much as I enjoy an actual rain storm I prefer just the thunder. This is well done and awesome for my blood pressure too. Not only do I use it for sleep but also when my kids are loud and crazy (I have 4 so it’s quite often).

This is one of the better fireplaces. The thunder is impressive but soothing rather than jarring. It's spaced just right--not too regular, but not too infrequent. The cracking sounds come through, but the pops aren't too sharp.
The one with the wind and rain was definitely too busy. This one is just right. Thanks!

Which voice recorder do you use?
My four year old Amelia just loves this fireplace & thunderstorm! We are all about thunderstorms, and since we can’t have a nightly storm where we live... this is the next best thing! It is a huge part of our nightly bedtime ritual. It goes on right after bath, and then we snuggle down together for story time. And she can totally tell if I try to sneak a different one. Lol.

I'm trying to warn as many people as possible. it may be a good channel for ambient noises but these people will fuck you over. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR MUSIC. They upload it, make a profit, share none of it with you and when they have squeezed everything out of it they will delete your video and will refuse to explain why
It’s nice not having the rain & wind. It’s too many sounds most times. And you rarely hear them clearly anyway over thunder. It’s like, “It’s coming behind those thunderheads!”, but the rest never quite makes it to you.
