- Late war scenario that pitted a US armored spearhead against a ragged mix-matched german army somewhere in the Rhineland, 1945!
Please like and subscribe. Let me know what scenarios would interest you. I'm currently working on Battle of the Bulge, Sicily, and N African theater terrain/armies.
You will never see this comment BUT this is the channel that inspired me to start my own little trip into BA , it is simply the best channel out there until very recently for this content , My own channel is still in the making ! ! ! been 5yrs now but the figures are all nearly done and just the scenery to go ! That's right BA battle reports but at COMPANY LVL with no points list just fun exciting games with lots of semi decently painted figures and tanks at COMPANY LVL maybe even SEVERAL COMPANYS at he same time i have that many figures ! ! ! So coming to YT in a year or two inspired by this lot . You were simply the best i thank you for your content gentleman , regards from Gaz in the UK ! .
Great battle report and a beautiful table. Cool to see a Tiger in a battle report perform well! Keep em coming!
Love your Battle Reports. Look great, interesting scenario's and not too long !
Kili121416 cool yeah thata what im going for!
Newly subbed. Binge watching your batreps. So far this one has been my favorite. Looking forward to watching the rest.
Jay-mu-zu von Cippangu awesome! What did you like best ab this particular vid?
Great batrep! I usually don't like the ones where the action is summarized afterward but you handle it really well and make it interesting along the way!
Thanks! Hopefully more to come soon!
Enjoyed the batrep. Thanks for sharing.
Some good rolls by the Germans that battle. As always nicely done.
I have an eastern front battle posting tomorrow!
Thanks!
Great battle!
Great stuff - thanks!
I was really excited by the intro and this is the first bat rep I've watched from you guys - but then I saw you don't film the action and dice rolls which for me is essential. Sorry can't sub, but great table and gorgeous minis!
NbuTube we understand!
Hi There, I rarely comment on any reports but that one looked excellent. Terrain is fab, happy gaming
Baldies Battles in Miniature thanks! We have a ton more for you to check out!
Your Tiger and mine has the same numbers 007 LOL. Also she's never been destroyed or stopped in any way.
Very nice. Thank you
Brad Lund glad you enjoyed!
nice table mate
great game thanks.
Nice........like the style.........easy to follow.......great boards.
Jeff Hughes thanks! There are a ton more in the works!
Another great battle!
Great batrep!!! Keep them coming! Confused on 1 thing though. According to the scenario victory conditions tanks are not eligible to capture objectives. The Tiger would not have controlled the crossroads based on this. Do you house rule that tanks can hold objectives?
great job enjoyed
Thanks guys!
Beautiful table! I just discovered this channel after going through wahoo warrior's great reports. What's your technique with your terrain? A video of that would be cool.
J Maxwell Loveless i just used sand sealed with watered down pva to get the texture. I painted it and then dlocked it. Then, sealed it again with the PVA
Texas Bolt Action Very cool. It really sets it apart from the more common battle mat approach. Do you apply the sand/pva onto a 4x8 plywood sheet, or foam board (or something else)? My apologies for my ignorance.
J Maxwell Loveless No apology needed. Happy to help. I used a 6’x4’ piece of particle board! I just have it set up on some cheap saw horses in my kitchen!
Great boards, great minis and great commentary. Subbbbbbeeeddd.
Thanks! Will be playing another one tonight! Prophovka Heights! Will try to have it up tomorrow!
Cheers Ill keep my eye out.
Where did you buy the houses and the church from? They look great!

Thanks!
The Germans all the way through the war were pretty eclectic when it came to their equiment. T34's, halftracks, trucks etc all saw service in the German Army if it was captured in working condition. They'd slap a coat of grey on it and paint a iron cross on it and call it good.
Hoehner Tim yep!
How can I have just learned of this ? I play 40k this looks cool though.
Champagne of beer!
Note that for Point Defense, all three objectives begin as controlled by the Germans. They change hands only when uncontested but then remain under the control of the last side to control them even if the units move away. So, in this scenario, the Germans had a draw. Victory is determined by how many objectives the attacker controls. Since the Americans controlled the one objective, it was a draw. The Germans would have had to push all of the American units 3" away from that objective to take it back. Contesting does not matter.
DZ Sabre thanks for that. We knew it was that way in the book but we often modify the scenarios in the book to focus more on the narrative of the battle. If i recall correctly we called it a German victory bc the American ay was near decimated.
My apologies then. I've been playing for a bit over a year and have been able to enter competitions because I learned so much from watching batreps and reading the rules along side so I could better understand what the rule really meant. the batreps were so helpful that i am sure I'm not the only one watching baterps to learn the rules so I tend to point them out so others can learn too. No discredit was intended as your batrep was really good and the terrain is great.
DZ Sabre Thanks for watching!
where did you get your terrain?

Could you post your army list
Been way too long since we fought that battle but I believe it’s in the intro. Also keep in mind in those games we often played with uneven lists.
you cant go on ambush with indirect fire. good battle report though
Wee green stunties ah yes I often forget the rules while filming. Good thing it didn't effect the outcome too bad:)
"They were kind of starting to mix and match units into single units" Umh no they weren't, the Germans, nor anybody else for that matter, ever mix different types of squads in a platoon of company. And the Heer and SS never mixed below the corps level. One other point the STG assault rifle were issued to the Volksgrenadiers not the SS. You of course can make p you platoon any way you want just please don't try and pass it off as historical.
jdg Check out ‘The Last Battle’ by Stephen Harding. Thanks for watching.
