In his interview with Suga on "Suchwita", Jin said when he started singing he couldn't hear himself sing. He turned up his inner ear, but still nothing. He looked up, and there was only 1 feedback monitor. In BTS concerts, they have many speakers to help the singer. It's because there is a time delay of the music on stage getting to the singer on the thrust stage. It's vital to hear yourself. He was very professional and didn't panic and continued on!

I get emotional with this performance and this song, too, and I can think of a couple of reasons for that This is a very specific song for ARMY and Jin, written very precisely as a appreciation of the place we have in each others' hearts. It might sound like a fairly generic love song/metaphor, but in fact it is almost a literal account of the experience BTS have when they perform and are able to see and relate to ARMY. In addition, Coldplay wrote this song specifically for Jin, to mark his departure to be the first member to enter military service. Jin has never spoken (as far as I know) about what he might have felt when it was time to go, but Chris's introduction to his performance made it clear that Chris feels that it is a big deal and he 'translated' that for ARMY. Perhaps Jin spoke with him about his qualms or fears, perhaps Chris was simply able to identify with his position. It doesn't matter, because it spoke so vividly of the respect Chris has for his brother Jin and for his other brothers in BTS. Coldplay's respect for BTS, their very obvious and honest affection and their willingness to speak up for them when, as happens far too often in the West, they are spoken of dismissively really touches me - and it's not only Chris who will do this, it is each of the band. They all feel it. I suspect that every single ARMY feels this too, and have embraced Coldplay - and I think they know this.

Hi Shiki! Last year I attended Coldplay's concert in Mexico City and even when we were there only as Coldplay fans when they sang My Universe it was shocking how the floor was shaking like a mini earthquake because everyone was jumping and screaming with that song. It is nice to see how many Coldplay fans are also Army. I have a video of that concert screaming at my daughter "the floor is shaking!!!" hahaha. I will share it with you. 💜
