A wonderful treat, thanks for the link via SREmG Nick; by far my favourite appearance is from WCC Wells though I'm very biased been a Southern enthusiast.

You are very welcome. Thank you for your kind comment. Yes that is a fine engine and I would very much like to see it back on the mainline. It is considered by some to be a class 8 now with the Giesel ejector giving it a performance boost.
      Nick.

This is not a First-Class video; it is better than a First-Class video. Superb! Unlike other "sound of steam" videos we are NOT track-side to witness six-foot drivers flashing past inches from our face, and only the incoming front and outgoing rear of the train in focus. Nick's video let's us see The Train, in full, as promised, and let's ME see it as my forbears must have seen it - puncturing and traversing the UK countryside. And there's another thing, this video let's me see my homeland in beautiful scenes - the pastoral greenness of the UK rather than today's Industrial new media shots of grubby cities. Duly bookmarked for those days when I need a bit of a pick-me-up. Thanks Nick!
