Me too!! Closing night was yesterday, so now I'm sad, but I was so psyched to play such a big (and incredibly fun) role, when I'm only in grade 10!! God, this song was so much fun! Especially at the end when Robbie and Glen go back and forth
I wish I could find a video of this from my school's production. The guy who sang this had an incredibly sleazy, jaded air about him but still managed to give it appropriate energy. It was something else to watch him.
wow. putting on a show is really hard, my school is doing this and we're a small school-a little less than 400 kids. Putting on a show is really tough, and we never compare ourselves to bigger and "better" schools, because if we did our best than that was perfection to us. Stop bashing this performance because I thought the stage and sets looked amazing and you guys did great!
If I'm not mistaken this is a professional production, not a school. The chair/table/cubicle-ography was in the original production. Basically, those three "props" gave the number three different distinct looks, and broke it up quite well. Broadway DID NOT have glowing money.
I second holdonxme's request for a full version if you have it, I'm pitching this for my University Theatre Group and would like to be able to say that we hada decent recording of this stuff for producers and choreographers to have a look at should we need to. If you do and you are willing?
@RyanEdwardWise Dunno about this one, but when I did it, he was in an entirely different outfit and changed the whole thing. Of course, we had him absent for the whole dance break, not just half of it like here.
The quick changes in this show never cease to amaze me.
Strippers screaming "Hey, big spender!" has been stuck in my head all day. That one verse. Garoo
I have also joined the coalition of Glens! Nice to meet ya’ll

I was in a production of Wedding Singer earlier this summer, and Stephen Lynch came to OUR performance. Coolest performance ever!!
I'm trying out for Glen this week. This is a great example on how to sing the song and portray the character :)
Another Glen checking in. Our show goes up in three weeks!
I didn't know there were so many other Glens... Its like an underground residence

this song is a pain in the arse to sing as a glen, so much trouble getting the breaths
IM PROUD TO BE ANOTHER GLEN!!!! pretty excited when i learned i got to do this song. Its one of the best in the musical, in fact, it is the best!
Well Choreographed and very well danced!!! :-)
@misskimizzo and I'm not sure if the chair stuff was in the original production or just the tour, but I loved it!
That was my favorite character I've ever played x]
another new Glen here. So looking forward to ruling the role!
I get the new coke and the 3 dollar coffee and I think it's absolutely hysterical!!!
So sad that I didn't make the cut.
oooo I like it :)

@Chadwookiee I played this part last week and i'm also a sophomore :) this number was f*cking amazing.
i'd say great choreo, but half of it is rob ashford's original stuff... i loved the splits and the clean doubles... well executed! : )
I'm the coffee and coca cola person XD
@kfell132 I don't know, I'm Glen also but Single is an amazing song!
GLEN GANG 2019!
yup. Glen here too
I love this song. The sound isn't the best but its good :D. I had to do spots on this (Spotlights) and it wasn't the easiest.
I'm a Glen too!

@misskimizzo I must admit, though, I miss the chair and money-ography!
