Thank you Corey for showing us how to use these chords in context!! My chord progressions sound so much more meaningful now that I understand these chords.
Thanks for sharing this! The 6/9(#11) can be used also as unexpected ending. For example: Fmaj7 D7(#9) Gm7 C7sus4 B6/9(#11). Maybe slowing down. So the B chord replace the F chord. Greetings from Aosta Valley (Italy)!
Hi Corey, when you use this chord as a replacement of the V chord (second example), is the C6/9/11# functioning as a D chord in third inversion? Thanks
I'm having fun trying to play this chord on guitar and having to use all 6 strings. There's actually a surprising number of different one's you can hit with a little bit of hand stretching. If I was gonna 'cheat' and drop a note or two from the chord what would you recommend?
Hey I use several programs. I have a course where I walk you through exactly how I set up everything, and many of the tricks I use. Here’s the link - skilledmusician.com/product/how-to-create-an-online-studio/

I've been playing for over a decade, but I'm not yet as great as I want to be. Partly because I didnt have the best foundation. I want you to help me learn from scratch again. I would really love to play like you even if it means me in unlearning everything I already know. Which isn't a lot though. Pls respond

Cory, could you you do a tutorial on different interval key changes. How, when and why to get there with some typical examples in existing songs?
Great suggestion! Let me see what I can put together for you!
Lush sounds in your intro! Nice!
Thank you so much!

Do you play live? I'd love to see and hear you in full flow. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.
Yes! I play for a church called New Covenant Christian Ministries in Lithonia, GA. We livestream every week!
The song sounds to me like ‘the promise’ by Andrea Crouch. Is it so Nr Corey?
Almost!
In context 13:29, this definitely a lydian sound as if a movie score was about to happen
Exactly!!!
