I do feel bad that the Dark Universe flopped because in all honesty, it did sound like something new and interesting. However, I think the real problem is that the people behind this franchise didn’t really understand or have a plan for this universe. I do think The Mummy was better than Dracula Untold so it did clearly have a bit of potential. Here’s hoping this franchise gets returned to.
The Dark Universe had so much potential! We still want it, but it has to be done right!
Yes and if they do it right then they should keep Tom Cruise far away from it as possible.
I hope they do a monster team up movie soon
So far I’m still rooting for Javier Bardem to be Frankenstein
And
Ryan gosling to the wolfman
But at least we got
Luke evans as Dracula
Tom cruise as the mummy
Russell Crowe as mr hyde
@@tonyzarate1418 Sofia Boutella was The Mummy, Tommy Boy was just a vassal for Set. I want Penelope Cruz as The Bride of Frankenstein.
The Dark Universe Part Was Totally Creepy
_The Mummy_ (2017) sank all chances of the Dark Universe being successful. Pretty bad move there, Universal.
It's not even Universal's fault, it was the fault of whoever created this script, and who approved the script too, Universal only distributed the film, who produced it was the company Sean Daniel Company and the company was K/O Paper Productions.
Fine film but bad review somehow
Can you do the opening logos for Sully (2016)?
They should do one where the Universal globe is replaced with Jupiter.
The beginning and the end of the Dark Universe.
Well, here's hoping for another Mummy reboot movie, to give the Dark Universe another chance.
All because Tom Cruise wrecked it with his ego.
This movie was released in theaters on June 9, 2017.
Did any one noticed that the Comcast byline looks 3D?
UNIVERSAL DARK UNIVERSE
Imagine a horror genre collection called "Universal Horror Universe". Now, each letter of the Universal logo features a scene from a horror movie:
U: Dracula (1931), with the scene "I am Dracula".
N: Erick the phantom being unmasked by Christina
I: Chucky with the ruler saying: "You've been very naughty, Miss Kettlewell!"
V: Henry Frankenstein saying "It's alive!"
E: Chris from "Get Out! (2017)" trying to break free from the restraints.
R: The Wolf Man's roar from the 1941 version.
S: The shark eating Quint in "Jaws (1975)".
A: Screaming Bride of Frankenstein's Monster.
L: Candyman spitting out bees in the 1992 film.
Jaws is more of a thriller
The Invisible Man (2020)
Renfield (2023)
In Alternative Universe, It was shown but only The Mummy 2017…
They shouldn’t have cancelled I am making about 4 films which will be a follow up to the mummy and reboots
RATED PG-13
for violence, action and scary images, and for some suggestive content and partial nudity.
RATED TV-14
V
UNIVERSAL AND UNIVESE LIKE
The Mummy 2 2019
It should be the mummy 4 with Brendan Fraser
Fantastic logo animation from a terrible movie
Because Tom Cruise fucked it up.
