Abeokuta will go down as the ugliest state capital in Nigeria. No development at all, no modern infrastructure, the way you left it 30 years ago is the same way you will still meet it. It’s a shame, as backwards as Northern state are, they are more developed than Abeokuta. I’m from Ogun state before you think otherwise.

Not all states need to have modern infrastructure and hustle some states can be more relaxed, calm
Not everywhere needs to be shiny or filled with modern structures
It can do better but this is not backward by any means when compared to most places in Nigeria (including state capitals) please
