France Télévisions Sport Compilation (HD)

Though France Télévision was created in 1992, France 2 and France 3 only started having similar sport intros in 1999. They became almost identical after the great rebrand in 2002 that added an 's' to the group's name (becoming "France Télévisions") and introduced the current logos. In 2012, a unified sports service was created, FranceTVSport, with new orange and pink intros. Most will remember France TV's iconic theme, "Pour la beauté du geste", a song initially sung by Maïdi Roth ( • Maidi ROTH - Pour la b... , that was then played by an orchestra in 2008, before another orchestral cover in 2012 and an electronic remix in 2014 ( • "Champion" - FranceTV ... ). So before France Télévisions gets rebranded again next Monday, here are some sport idents from the French public service television channels, from 1999 to 2018.

I know that, but the new points are very less impressive, it seems a recicling work of the Franceinfo : branding. The trapezoids were the representation of a moving tv screens, and the colorfull scale gave a dinamic and modern brand

@@Jallamazc I'd disagree. Though it may be simple, it gave it one of the cleanest, most eye-catching and unified design I've seen on any television network! It's in the way it move and the push-button mechanic give it a more interactive feel to it. The dots are also appropriate in the world of digital communication, like something.something, or in this case france.tv. The trapezoids were brilliant, but I love our current look.

"France 2 and France 3 only had their first common sport service from 1999" : c'est faux, le service des sports était déjà commun à A2 et FR3 avant 1992, sous la direction de Jean Réveillon et Gilles Cozanet. Et dès 1992 la marque Sport 2/3 était visible à l'antenne avant les programmes sportifs.
