If I personally encountered this paywall I would exit the app and delete in within 3 seconds, before even knowing there was a way to bypass the paywall. For that reason alone I could never implement it in my own app. But it is unique...

you and thousands more. Monetizing an app in one way or another is always going to piss off potential customers, but hey devs need to make a living! If for every 100 ppl that delete the app right away and get pissed off about the hard paywall 1 single person subscribes that's still a win for the developer. We have families to feed!

Very interesting but too aggressive for some brands. Would you be concerned with bad reviews from the users that don’t pay attention to the one year renewal?,

That’s worth testing but we have many clients who do a hard paywall and have good reviews.

    GREAT video.
Question: How do you justify calling your app a "free" app if there's a hard paywall (even a hybrid).
As a user I found this quite deceptive.

Yeah but that data shows that hard paywalls do convert better.

So interesting how you promote sometimes SCAM paywalls 😂 but if you pass review with remove configure all time have chance be re reviewed by apple and remove app

It really depends on the reviewer and apple is starting to allow hard paywalls again. I think it’s app dependent.

But you can always cancel or request a refund. The numbers don’t lie.
