Might be the best looking handgun I've ever seen
It looks even better in person. Just got mine today.
@@charlesboese3536 and just got mime today as well, cz competition guns are better imo but this looks nicer
Though I don’t own a Beretta yet...I’ll give it a 10.🍿🇵🇷
I gotta say...The Beretta 92 model more specifically is my favorite pistol. I've owned one since the latter 1980s I wanna say... The evolution of this pistol has been outstanding! The under rail is the most advantageous aspect for me as a shooter with older eyesight! Mine? Mine does have the addition of a good green laser dot with I find to be a quicker pick up to my pair of eyeballs! Just a great all metal pistol which I prefer even though I do own a XDM from Springfield armory. I love the SA/DA aspect of the Beretta 92.
Great Review👍
I have been waiting for a good review of this new Beretta since they announced it at the Shot Show!
Great review, appreciate the detail. I just got mine and took it out for the first time. I'm impressed with how smooth it performs. Keep up the good work
hei carl still happy with your gun? i thinking of bying for ipsc contests
Wow... Great review! I ordered one and should be able to pick it up at Bass Pro Shop in two days. Good shooting. Interesting about the smaller diameter optic rod....
Thanks again for a great review!
Everything about the 92 series just feels like quality. I'm dying to test this thing out. I know it wont disappoint
This pistol is gorgeous! Thanks for the vid.
Great review. The more rounds through a pistol the more information. Thanks buddy.👍
Hey Bud... I absolutely loved your video very well done and you covered all the important stuff that matters... I am now a subscriber 😉👍
Fantastic- One of the flattest shooting handguns I’ve ever seen.
2000 rds in such a short period of time is thorough! Keep up the good work. I'm seriously considering this sexy beast as my next big purchase
Thank you! It is an amazing pistol, the best I have owned apart from a CZ AccuShadow 2. It is worth it👍 Make sure to subscribe! I have great new videos on the way!!!
Hope your channel grows man i mean that big time!!
What a looker she is! Just picked up a standard 92X today, I like it, but the Performance model may be in my future. That holster is sweet.
Possibly the best beretta video ever
Solid video dude. I like your sense of humour. Perhaps you can at some point compare the 92X with the CZ Shadow 2?
Ordered the Holster, now need the belt you have!
~I am happy to see the thumb-safety removed from the slide.
~I've not seen that holster before. I'm not an action shooter, but I do like this Ghost.
Southpaw here too! Represent! Nice shootin'. Very nice piece!
Very nice firearm. The Ghost holsters are great! I have one for my CZ’s.You shot very nice groups.
Thank you!
Beretta took the first 20 ..92X pistol produced, and fired 20,000 thousand rounds of +P ammunition without any issues. They performed flawlessly.
Glock tried the. same test, after 644 rounds, the slides started breaking and the chambers cracked. Golck representatives stated, the ammo was loaded too hot.
It was all the same ammo.
refreshing comeback to the beretta design
They truly did an amazing job.
Hey I'm new to your channel due to ordering the 92x just a few days ago and just wanted a great detailed review thanks for doing that. I would love to see you do a cleaning or suggest tips to keeping it functioning to its best performance.
WOW! very nice Rig!
brilliant this is my new dream gun.
I ordered 2 hammer springs from Langdon Tactical their 11 and 12 lbs spring. I installed the 12 lbs spring first and was so happy with it I didn't even try the 11 lbs spring. My trigger pull is lighter now at 7.5 DA and 3.5 SA and after trying various 9mm ammo I had no light strikes.
Anything Landong Tactical is top notch!!! Glad to hear you are happy with the new modifications you made! Make sure to subscribe for new videos coming soon!
Nice review
The beavertail swooping downward reminds me of early-80s 1911s
Order mine a while ago, still waiting on mine. Nice review, enjoy!
Thank you! You will see the wait was worth it once you get yours. Make sure to subscribe for new videos coming soon!
@@ProForceSecurity just an update, I finally got mine after a year of it being on order, not kidding. Serious back order due to pandemic etc. It was worth the wait like you said.
Great video. My next firearm purchase is clear. That fact that you went through so many rounds makes me comfortable that this could be my "bump in the night" gun. Okay dammit, I'm subscribing
I live in the UK and am not a fan of guns in general, but I was ever to move to America, I would get a license and get a gun (don't want to be the only fool without one) and this would be my go-to pistol. Good for carrying, competition, and home defense in one.
it's a good choose for the first gun
I am getting one soon I love it!!
I really haven’t gone shopping for one yet! Just looking at videos. I also am a lefty but I always been shooting right handed for some reason when I shoot lefty I get smacked around with brass and that sucks! I have a question for you does the 92x have any plastic parts like the trigger, recoil rod, mag release, and the safety?
Great video and love that holster but after paying for the 92x it will be a bit before I can even look at one of those lol
So nice
That's a very pretty gun.
I’ve been very happy with mine, my only complaint is that I can’t find enough time to get it out and shoot it!
Rats...I was extremely content with my 92G Vertec. It looks close enough to this new model for me to say: I don't need the 92X. Thank you for showing me something I can't live without. Excellent video by the way.
Steel frame and frame mounted safety. Different Leagues lol. I have a standard 92FS that’s been accessorized and it’s great but not 92X Performance great with a match hammer and LTT Trigger Bar.
Thanks for the review,
I wanted to ask you how the finish is holding up, is it wearing too much?
Beretta sells this trigger kit for older 92’s as well. I just put on in a M9A3 and it’s now my favorite.
Nice! you will see a huge improvement. Make sure to subscribe for new videos coming soon!
Was the installation very difficult?
I changed the trigger i every beretta i own.. 92 brigadier 92fs and both my 96s
They run like singer sowing machines
Do Not use cheap ass ammo
Only trigger I’d compare to the new 92x is SIG’s SRT. That paired with an adjustable trigger resets at the slightest let off. Seems quicker than the 92x just by a bit.
It looks to me that the 15 round mag is a Mec-gar magazine. If so,,, that Base Pad will fit on the Mec-gar 18 round M9 magazines. Springer Precision also makes nice aluminium base pads for both 17 and 18 round mags.
Man I just put a CZ Shadow 2 on layaway last week. I had one a few years ago and I miss it so much, but my first gun I ever bought, that I use at matches now, is my Beretta 92fs. A guy at the match yesterday had one of these 92x performance models and he let me hold it and dry fire it and I couldn't believe how much of an improvement it was over my basic 92fs!
Curious why you chose CZ Shadow 2?
@@crazycomments8038 I originally chose the CZ Shadow 2 back in 2018, when I bought my first one. I fell in love with it the moment I held it, because I could reach the controls and I just liked how it felt. I really liked how the heavy frame absorbed a lot of the felt recoil. I fell on hard times and don't have that pistol any more, so I got another one.
I do wish that I had looked harder for a 92x Performance now, but I still love my Shadow 2.
@@schneir5 I noticed a lot of CZ owners sharing how much they enjoy it and seems the Beretta 92x Performance is their competitor. I don't know because I never owned one just yet! I recently purchased the 92x and shoots way better than my Glocks, H & K, and Kimber. I decided to use this gun for future competitions.
@@crazycomments8038 Cool, did you get the 92X Full Size? What kind of matches do you like? I mostly do steel matches and USPSA. I'm mostly kicking myself for not getting the optics ready S2, and I'm thinking about getting mine machined for a red dot sight.
I love that Beretta pistol but that red fiber optic sight needle would have to be loc tighted in for me just falling out wouldn't cut the mustard !!!
Beautiful pistol.
As a fellow left handed shooter, do you find that the thumb safety gets in the way with a high thumbs forward grip like compared to an Ambi-safety 1911? Also, does the trigger bar get in the way if you have a high thumbs forward grip? (I've seen another left handed reviewer mention the trigger bar hits his left thumb when pulling the trigger, though that was on a Wilson Combat Vertec Beretta.) Thanks!
The Beretta/Wilson Combat 92G is probably the best but I’ll make that judgment call when I get this 92x Performance
Great video!
I'm a lefty as well. Which gun would you recommend if I wanna have the mag release and slide release on the right side?
Does the X92 supports the slide release on right side too?
Best regards from Germany
Aim small, shoot small. I also use 3" stickers. Other guys at the range "pray and spray".
Magazines go on the opposite side of the firearm. I would also love to see how you grab that magazine that behind the gun.
Very nice. However, with barrel extending past slide, why not thread it for a compensator?
How is that set up working out?? I think it's weird you have the mags on the same side of the pistol, have you changed it up?
Nice ❤️
How does the barrel look like inside after those 2,000 rounds? Thank You, great video!
Did you have to wait for the Beretta to come in wen you bought it or was it already in stock at the gun store
That’s a sexy gun right there
Pro force security is the slide to frame still tight I bought with langdon trigger job not sure how much better it made trigger
I'm In love big time
Nice video, I was wondering if you had any time with any of the wilson combat, or ltt berettas and how they compare? Getting from Texas.
I would like to see the same comparisons.
how does this stack up to the X5 Legion? Most pistols at 10 yards will be the same it's when you get to 75ft
I just found one of these in all blue at Knob Creek last week. They actually had about every model and combination I could think of to do my comparative shopping against but I am still divided between this gun and a 92A1.
The 92A1 is great but, the 92X Performance is on another level. You should also look into the M9A3 and the Elite LTT. They are both spectacular alternatives as well.
@S Thieman ProForce is correct as the 92X is a higher more refined version of the 92A1. I have many of the Beretta's 92FS, M9A1, Brigadier, Wilson Combat 92G etc... I do not have a 92X but would like to have one. My personal experience is that if you are able to shoot well with a regular 92FS then when you move up to these higher models you will shoot even better after acclimating yourself to them. All are excellent pistols but I think the 92X is more for competition which can also be used for anything else. But for normal everyday carry...there are M9A3, Compact L, Elite LTT etc.......just pick one and you will not be disappointed.
S Thieman I have a beretta 92A1 and opted to order the trigger job in a bag from Langdon tactical . Very very sweet setup. I have taught 5 2 day pistol classes with it now with 0 malfunctions. I highly recommend it!
@@coverfireconcepts9032 Did you have much difficulty when installing the trigger job in a bag? I was going to get the outside trigger bar that lessens take up on the trigger.
Dale Phillips No Sir I didn’t . I watched the RUclips video of Ernest installing the kit and in about 15 minutes I had everything installed and ready to go .
Great video. Thanks. As you probably already know that holster is not legal for production class of USPSA pistol and multi gun. I’m not sure about 3 gun or IDPA but I don’t think it’s legal for their production class either. You’ll have to let me know. This is a pistol you’d want for production class and not for open or limited, right? That holster would only be legal for limited or open so I’m not sure what the pairing of that pistol and holster are for. I’m no expert though and I only have 1st hand experience in USPSA. Always up to learn something new so I’m curious what the intended use is for the pistol/holster choice. Thanks man!
Wonderful video as always. Love the holster. Hot Holster🥵. When I start shooting comp I’ll look into it. How much and what’s the website? Is there a specific link you have? Also, as a fellow leftie I would like to see a quick video on how you grip your pistol. It seems you rest your left thumb on the safety. I’m afraid to do that as I fear I will interfere with the slide. 🤷🏾♂️ Thoughts or any advice? Thanks. Giving the pistol and 11 out of 10 tho. You rated it low. 🤣😂
Thanks! Here is the link to the holster: ruclips.net/video/yCS8AqoOjUs/видео.html. I will see if I can make that video. I"ll definitely keep it in mind.
ProForceSecurity Thanks. Appreciate ya
Only thing I say o have never had an issue on the slide mounted decoker/safety on the 92. I don’t like having the safety on my thumb like that tbh.
Wow já cheguei apavorando o Like 👊 Essa é a máquina dos meus sonhos um dia chego lá 😉
Obrigado!
That's a great review mate, and its so good to see a lefty (as am I) doing pistol reviews 😊 Think I'll trade my Walther PPQ 5 Match poly frame for this Beretta.
PFS - I hope I'm wrong; but, it appears that the trigger bar is scratching the frame when you squeeze the trigger. When the pistol is in double action (hammer down), I "think" I see a shiny semi-circular scratch. If there is a shiny scratch, the trigger bar may have a burr. Over time, the scratch will deepen.
Thanks for the feedback. No scratch, I just forgot to wipe it down before the video and it was a bit dirty. Good eye though Charles! Make sure to subscribe for future videos!!!
notice on their web site they have specific models for 10 rounds vs 15. is the only difference the mag capacity?
Baller how’s the slide to frame fit after 2000 ? Solid ?
Hey man, great gun i hope that soon be in my Country, to buyit, but i got i question for you, i see that you got a Ghost belt, but the retention holster its Beretta, i havent see it before, not in the beretta home page neither in gost page. ¿where did you got it?.
Nice video man. Really love it.
@ProForceSecurity
Where does the 'nistan' finish wear besides the trigger bar area?
Mine has been on order since APR2019, I can’t take it much longer.
Hang in there Matt! The wait will be worth it👍
Get on with it!
You can use it with an electric lamp in event blackout ! And read manual before use: it's engraved on the gun !
Beretta choose 15 rds. magazine because the international IPSC production Div. rules.
Good to know! Thanks Key👍
If its the same size mag as the 17 rd ones juat cut a bit of spring off and make it a 17
They are 15 round mags to comply with IPSC rules
Fellow Lefty here. Do you find that the trigger bar (?) hits your thumb(s) with a high thumbs forward grip when it moves?
Nice review. Not sure why they would do this revision and not put an optic plate on the gun...does not mean you have to use it, but it would be nice to have the option without spending even more $$ to have the slide milled. It should also have 19-21 round mags for that price. If competition requires less, the by those for the competition... training and range use is much more fun with more magazine capacity IMO... I just picked up a Sig X5 (regular version) last week (used) and it comes with 4 21 round mags.
Beretta offers 30 round magazines for the 92X
They already have optics made for the 92 which is why they probably didn't see a need to make an optics plate for the 92X.
Belleza de fierro
Will that holster fit a Beretta 92X with a compensator on it?
do the 17 round mags work in it as well?
2000 ROUNDS IS WHAT WE USED TO CALL A WEEKEND
Any updates on this Beretta 92x Performance?
Is the muzzle flash normal on this? I own one and own a m9. I can see the muzzle flash on this so much more than the m9.
9:42 Is the thumb inside the trigger guard?
Is that holster USPSA legal in production class now? From what I have read, it sounds like the race-type prohibition was removed?
Are there aftermarket sights for this gun?
Single action only would be nice
Pity about the Vertec grip. If they bring out a standard grip frame (backstrap) I would love to have one.
Keep in mind it brings the rubber backstrap in the box, to add on top of the vertec grip (to give you that traditional feel of the Beretta 92s). Hope this helps👍
No thanks. I prefer the standard grip profile over the Vertec, even with the wrap around rubber grip. It looks more like an afterthought.
I can't find them here, and California doesn't allow shipping. For now, I have to take everyone's word that it's an amazing gun.
Is that ghost’s regular beretta holster?
Says the link is broken :( I can't find the floater belt. I see the same belt but it looks like it has an actual holster attached to it rather than having your gun float
Hello question can you change the mag release on left side thanks lmk
Hi, Yes. You can check out my other video where I swap out the mag release from right handed to left handed👍
I want
Nice review. Just bought a 92X Performance and my SA trigger pull weight is 4.5 lbs. Did yours lighten up with use? I just ordered an Langdon Tactical 11 & 12 lbs spring to see what that does. I'm pretty sure the stock Beretta hammer spring is the 16 lbs D spring. The 92 X performance is a great Beretta.
mag318 that’s a little high.
I only have 100ish through mine...DA is 6lb 5oz, SA is 3lb 3oz. Those are the averages of 5 pulls.
mag318 JJ Racaza just posted a video clip saying that he got his Beretta 92x Performance down to 1.5lb single action.
No idea what work he’s done to it.
Mine is at 3lbs. But definitely, it will ease up with time. Maybe this helps:
ruclips.net/video/_mmk9EOneT0/видео.html
Timeframe 13:26 shows how you can alter the trigger pull weight on the pistol. Hope this helps! Make sure to subscribe for new videos coming soon!!!
You can easily run 12 (or 13) Lbs LTT springs...the DA will improve a lot! My personal choice is the 14 Lbs, never under the 13 Lbs one.
(92x P. Factory is lighter than 16 Lbs.)
@@ericmpena Just because JJ Racaza is using a full customized race gun!
It’s gorgeous - but I can’t get past the billboards on the dust cover / rail I really don’t like that.
have same gun and can't get same accuracy as with my CZ or Walther. With Beretta 92X Performance most shots goes down, no matter that I do. Unless, I have really weird supporting hand grip...
Pro force security
What is the model of that holster
Do you export to other countries?
Smith/Wesson need to bring back their metal frams
I was thinking the same thing while watching this
