Here in Australia the 92X performance cost $2100. I figured it would shoot like a Beretta but it doesn't, it's a beast compared to my Shadow 2. In my opinion, it was love at first sight, the 92X Performance has to be the most beautiful production gun ever made
@gerechoppers If you jump through all the hoops over here you can have them, join a pistol club, complete a day course for your firearms licence, apply for your licence, that is about a 12 month wait, in my wife's case 13 months, then you can put in a permit to aquire a firearm, that can be up to 3 or 4 months as well, that is in Queensland Australia, you certainly have to be patient and dedicated it's a bit of a process, then you become a licenced firearms owner with a registered firearm, there are also safe storage requirements.
Hi from elsewhere in Australia. I have gone from a CZ Shadow 2 to a Beretta 92 FS Brigadier (not a patch on the CZ) and am now waiting to pick up my 92X Performance. Can't wait!! And as you know, in Australia there's a lot of waiting to be done with every exchange. I'm glad you like yours and agree that it's a stunner. The trigger feels so different it's hard to believe it's from the same company as the 92FS.
I own one and it’s one of my favorite guns to shoot. It’s very accurate right out of the box, low recoil due to weight and just beautiful to look at. Quality made. It’s not my first Beretta and won’t be my last. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
That take down lever.....lol. I was cleaning and moved the level and the lever fell out of the gun. Lord....is there a spring...where is the spring!? Found! Lord that was too easy to remove! HAHA Now shooting......I LOVE THIS GUN! I was a SAMI in the Navy so the Beretta 92FS is near and dear to me. This is light years better of a weapon! I was sighting in my red dots on two other weapons and this gun was every bit as good without one. Maybe a little dramatic but damn close!
I own two of them. I love the recoil reduction from the added weight. I even added tungsten guide rods for more weight. I dunno, for me a heavy gun just feels right. Plus it reminds me to work out so it doesn't feel so heavy. 🤣🤣
All Beretta 92's have an open top slide. The Brigadier slide initially was to add weight and accommodate the 40S&W in the 96. In thise case they removed material from the inside of the slide to lighten it.
I have the 92x Perf. I also have 6 other variants of Beretta hand guns and the Vertec frame both aluminum and thus one steel is far more comfortable than a traditional 92. Ive been carrying a Vertec 96 in Inox for many years and all of them including my WC Brigadier are amazing. This 92x is on a new level that i hope Beretta continues to improve on.
Hi, I only have a 92x RDO compact, but I would like one of the full size too. I'm curious about holsters for the 92x with rail... Both IWB & OWB? I'd love a follow up video too!
Thank you for this interesting video. Are you sure that you tested it completely? Did you try to shoot it only with the weak hand (3 shots in 3 seconds at 15 yards in a "letter-sized" Target)? Did you try to train the handling of double feeds? Did you try to use it in an heavy rain? My main point is that this pistol is horrendously heavy and you need strong muscles in order to use it efficiently. My second point is that it is full of angles, which are painful when you handle it under stress.
@NecPluribusImpar twice as accurate and less recoil. One such example would be my eaa witness stock 2. The canik SFX Rival Steel is another one I also have. Single action trigger. Oh, my sig 210 target and Smith and wesson 952-2 are all more accurate than the baretta.. But within the confines of the internet you can say what you want. I compete regularly and have 2 national records in shooting and have gone to the nationals 3 times. Bianchi cup. So when you say "shitty " clone, what are you talking about. Be more specific. Accuracy, feel, recoil impulse
I managed to loose the slide in a competition. Of course 0 points for that stage and competition was ruined. I somehow pushed the button when drawing and then on 3rd shot the lever got pushed down and that was it. The lever-gaspedal is a bad design. I made a 3D printed sleeve for the button so that it no longer can be accidentally pressed.
sorry but a girsan with RDO included is a better carry gun compared to beretta and goes for 550 there performance model goes for 526 I think is over priced I got a beretta 92X RDO used for 540 which I would carry then that model sorry I thinks ugly
If the gun is sighted in out of box for 25 yards and i believe it is, it will shoot low at 7 yards as the bullet is still rising until point of aim equals point of impact at 25 yards. When testing new gun out of box test for group size, then site gun in at chosen distance(for me 15 yards)

Pardon my ignorance, but I thought Australia banned all semiautomatic firearms years ago.

I have a 92fs.. my childhood heroes were John McClane and Martin Riggs... 😎👍
Hehe! That's awesome, Tom!!!
My first gun I ever bought was a Beretta 92FS. I really like that style of gun.
Oh really, Jesse B Outdoors? That's cool!! It's a little different, and not in a bad way.

Haha! There ya go, James! It's a win-win!!
Doesn’t it come with tungsten guide rod ?? For $1500 it should anyway
@@burtonkephart6239 comes with a steel guide rod. Better than those polymer ones they give most 92s lol
From what distance are the shots made?

I have a 92x centurion and I love it. I too shot slightly low on my first shots but got the point of aim down now. Great gun.
Funny that you say that because other people have told me the same thing, Mark Tanner!
A Gun I have a lot Experience with. Beretta is a great gun and a all around beautiful gun.
Oh, that's awesome, Cowboy Jeff 1911! I guess I'm in good company then, huh? :-D
I'm really Accurate with my 92 and is one that friends if mine like to shoot 🔫 and borrow. I've personally never had any issues with mine.
Wow, that is a pretty gun. Almost as pretty as the shooter! Thanks for the video!
i had 2 mod 92's,, a full size and the compact, wish i had them back!
Oh no, daniel kearney!! I hate it when I get rid of one and then realize my mistake. IF it comes around again, the price has gone up. That's a bummer!

Maybe a little sight adj. mite just help.
That’s the 92x performance defensive. They lightened it and took off the accessory rail. It’s 42.75 ounces.
What happened to the promised reviews of the beretta pistols?..
I like this channel 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. Keep them videos coming.
Good video. Remember tho movies refrences have no value in gun reviews ever
she is talking about the performance defensive at 42.7 oz
The greatest pistol ever ! Just my humble opinion .
Oh really? That's cool!! It's neat to see how many fans it has!
This video reminds me I have a Beretta M9 languishing in the safe that I should take out to the backyard soon.
Great Shooting Jenny!
Ohhhh, yes, M E !!! Please take it out and shoot it!
Everyone needs a safe queen… or 2 or 5 :)
@@reese8752 i just got deep into kit guns and have neglected my 9mm's.
But I think it's time to get them dirty again.
I once considered the Baretta 92 after the US Army adopted it. was way too expensive for me so I went looking for a Taurus 92
And, Critter? What were your thoughts on the Taurus?
@@JennyJ1911 never got one divorce took precedence
Keep up the video's. Never had Berreta. But had a taurus clone..Gave it to my son. Never really got to love it so Never got a Berreta..
You didnt like a shitty clone so you didnt get the original? Geez...
@NecPluribusImpar I got guns that are twice the Berreta
Remember, opinions are like...
You 😁

Heya, heya, heya, Big Trev!! How are you? 😁

When I first got mine it kept jamming, but after a little over 100 rounds that MOFO ran like a CHAMP.
That's it has a adjustable rear sight.

it isn't the 92x performance. its a 92x defensive
It’s actually 92X performance defensive, s as if should weigh in less than 43 Oz to fit the IDPA regulation.
Mine weighs 50 oz👀
Beretta 92 is an awesome gun, my complaints is so thick and heavy. You need to find a Star BM and try that. You will love it.
I can make that happen. How about the whole Star family?
Thanks for the suggestion, Ketchman!! Looks like I may have a supply to make a miniseries on the Star!! :-D
Sounds stellar to me, Les!! Thank you!!
@@JennyJ1911 If you want I could supply a Star BM, Star PD, a Firestar in all 3 calibers or a Star S in .380.
it's below 43 oz, not 48
When was the last time you saw a beretta pistol? They all have the same cut out in the slide. Maybe start reviewing brownies instead of pistols.
Beautiful hands

Looks great but I would never buy it. Way way way too heavy.
beretta always shoot low for me too need to 12 clock aim?
I have the PX4 Storm, and it does shoot a little low. I noticed it didn't do it as much when i used 115g instead of 124
