- Before his bout versus Canelo Alvarez, Caleb Plant tried to smack Canelo for his push. In that attempted smack Canelo came a picture perfect pull counter. Canelo Alvarez had just landed the perfect slap. In this segment we'll be looking at Canelo Alvarez's pull counter versus Caleb Plant. Thank you for joining me on this breakdown as we take a closer glance.

Skills transcending weight classes right? Well Canelo was so young when he was winning at world level that most of his weight class movements have been as he filled out as a man. Basically aside from his win against the krusher and Smith (but Smith was killing himself to make the weight) he is beating the best yes but the best as his own size. 7lbs between weight classes isn't as impressive as Uysk being a mid to smaller cruiser weight going up and beating AJ. The amount of size and power he had to over come is so immense that I'm willing to give him the #1 spot. But that's just me.. Proceed to trash me.. Lol

Definitely always pull for my fellow Tennesseean, but he’s no where near the level of Canelo and everyone knows it. Kudos to him for getting a belt and having the chance to share the ring with Canelo, there’s just too much skill and strength of opponent gap throughout their boxing history. Canelo will win this easily, normally I would say maybe Caleb can make it a dirty brawl and rough slugfest but even if that was the case I don’t believe he has the power, speed or precision to hurt Canelo even if somehow he lands.
