  • Learn how to use ScreenFlow to edit your videos. ScreenFlow is just one of the select few tools that I use to help run my online business. Grab a copy of my free checklist to see all the other tools I use ►► www.timpeakman...
    If you’re creating any kind of online content, you need to master video. Or more importantly you need to master how to edit your videos so they are engaging, impactful and helpful for your audience.
    But here’s the thing. Most of the content out there online is far from engaging or well edited. So if your content is solid, it shouldn’t take you much to apply some simple video editing principles so that you can produce a high quality video.
    Let’s face it, video is here to stay. So I would highly recommend that you embrace it by selecting a video editing platform and mastering it now, to make your life easier for the future.
    In this video, you will learn:
    1. How to edit your videos so that your face appears in the best position on the screen to show off your content.
    2. How to capture your screen to create tutorial style videos for your audience to engage with and learn from.
    3. How to edit the audio, video and screen graphics to create an engaging and value packed video.
    Don’t just simply outsource your video editing right away. Like any new skill, I would recommend learning how to do it yourself first, before outsourcing it to anyone else.
    Enjoy the process, no matter the outcome.
    - Tim

    Hey Tim, thanks for this video. Have you tried descript for removing ums and ahs? Seems a quicker option?

    • @timpeakman
      @timpeakman  Месяц назад

      @daveatatu you're very welcome. And yes, there are so many platforms to choose from these days. Something like descript may save you even more time. I would recommend picking a platform you like, and then sticking with that platform. Best of luck!

    Thanks - useful. How do you add the subscribe (and like) buttons to the video?

    • @timpeakman
      @timpeakman  Год назад

      Hey @MECFSExplored, great question. If you're reffering to a 'watermark', here's how: within your RUclips Studio, select customization on the left-hand side bar, then click on the Branding tab, then have your video watermark displayed throughout the entire video. For the like button, there is a thumbs up under your video. However, if you're referring to 'animated subscribe icons', I don't use these. But you could either create your own in something like Canva or purchase them from third-party companies. Hope this helps.

      @@timpeakman thanks for your reply. I'm a bit confused - there is a subscribe to youtube (your channel) button on the bottom right of this video.
      When you say 'your video watermark' - i presume you are referring to my brand watermark. I have added that, but want to know how to add the subscribe button as you have done instead.

    • @timpeakman
      @timpeakman  Год назад

      @InspiringChangeCoachingLtd yes that’s the watermark. So you can choose what image to upload here. Some channels have their own logo, others choose to use a subscribe image. (Like me). So I would simply google ‘RUclips subscribe button’ and download an image you like, then upload as a watermark. Hope this makes sense? Hi Tim
    Thanks for sharing these tips.
    I have been using Screenflow 10 and am struggling to get it right and I need a bit of help. I am recording an online course.
    I am trying, amongst other things, to size the video to the slide I am presenting but I am failing. Can you help, please?
    I know it is elementary but I want to do it properly. I will pay you, sir, for your time and effort accordingly.
    I am based in the UK.
    Cheers
    Paul
