Utah Scenic 12 Highway Drive - Cannonville towards Powell Point vista

This video is recorded during our drive
between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park
on The All-American Road: Scenic Byway 12 in May 2024.
The drive covered a distance of 122 miles,
and with lookout scenic stops and coffee break- took about 4 hours.
As the highway 12 winds through diverse landscape, we saw red rock canyons, lush forests, and open meadows. towering sandstone cliffs, rolling slickrock hills and rugged mountains. With elevations of up to 9,000 feet, happy to experience the incredible landscapes of mother earth in this part of Utah and Arizona.

The scenic road travels through some unique hills in Kodachrome State Park as it climbs toward Powell Point vista lookout,, near mile marker 41 on Highway 12.
