    The best part of that flight was the super soft landing :) oh, and all of the epic sights were pretty awesome too ;)
    Loved it! such an amazing location, and a beautiful flight.
    Thanks for sharing with us homebody plebs 🙏🔥👍👍

    Spectacular! I've been working on editing some FPV videos myself, but there's always so much to learn from watching great work like this.

    I’ve been considering a Helion 10, this video pretty much sold me on it. Thank you for sharing this and others. Absolutely stunning Sir.

    I can't wait to start the adventures with my Helion, it shows up within about a week.

      @@SummitWizardFPV it was a serious workhorse for me out in the field. I do have upgrades, but you should be fine.

    • @SummitWizardFPV
      @SummitWizardFPV 6 месяцев назад

      @NomadAerial What did you upgrade and why? I went with ELRS but I am debuting on if it was the right call.

    • @NomadAerial
      @NomadAerial  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@SummitWizardFPV I'm still on ELRS 2.4 Ghz, but the RX it comes with is basic and the antenna placement is sub-optimal. I have the RP4-TD, dual transceiver, quad channel RX with dual antennas on the arms (90 degrees out of phase) no nulls.

      @SummitWizardFPV 6 месяцев назад

      @NomadAerial if you saw that as an upgrade, I will definitely look into those components.
      How much tweaking did you do in betaflight

    Great spot, I think your quad has some strong vibrations, the action cam was trying to stabilize but see how the tip of that mountain kind of getting blurry every now and then, when you were at 1 km from take off spot. is the quad rpm filtered?

    Amazing theft and color of the 😍 image. The Helion seems to work well despite everything we say about vibrations. What do you use as a lipo? And how many mAh for flight time? Thanks 😉

    Another movie that convinces me not to buy Helion. What the hell is this jello? Can you tell me more about the flight conditions?

    • @NomadAerial
      @NomadAerial  6 месяцев назад +2

      Actually, to be clear, what you're seeing is _not_ jello. Jello is caused when a vibration frequency is faster than the scan rate of a sensor on a rolling shutter. That is definitely not the case here. What you're seeing is the Helion's lack of yaw stability since the props, being 10" in diameter, have a slower operational RPM and thus lower resolution for rapid adjustments on the yaw axis. It was very windy out there as one might figure, being mostly flat on a day with hot ground and deep cloud shadows. The side-to-side slipping is caused by this shearing wind, which unfortunately, doesn't have to be strong in order to cause this. I've tuned all of the actual "jello" out and there are no resonant vibrations reaching the camera.
