I was stationed at Ft. Greely, there in Delta Junction in the mid 80''s. Fell in love with Alaska and lived there for 21 years when I got out of the military. My daughter lives in Wasilla, Alaska with her husband and three boys.

Do you still live in Delta? I grew up there and my dad was stationed out on Ft. Greely in the early 2000s

Hey brother, really liked this video as someone applying for a job here from Texas! Also the sound of the same duramax i used to drive back in highschool really relaxed me in a way i was not expecting. Keep up the great uploads, this really helped me!

Thanks for your comment. There is something about a diesel engine.

You skipped a lot. The baseball fields, the multiple parks, never actually went into the visitor center, got the visitor center completely mixed up with a museum, also skipped one of the best museums they drove by right by the bridge, completely ignored the military base, and the other parts of town not to mention the multiple hiking areas and if you went further enough down towards Glen Allen he would have hit a glacier with an ice cave in it.

Thank you for your comments, I'll have to visit again and look at some of the places you pointed out. I spent many months in Alaska and hiked almost every day. I do these videos just so people can get a glimpse at what towns look like. I don't think there's any way to capture everything in 1 video.
