Hey, I hated the song when I first heard it. But I have this really strange tendency to hate something, then love it two days later. It may seem strange at first, but in time, you realize that you are perfectly normal.
True story: I found this guys music and thought of it as a joke about a year ago; looked at his other material and shit got serious real fast. Production game is on point.
This. It's a fucking masterpiece. It's far more than a random WTF clip. This guy understood it all. The way he used elements of his very own culture such as pokemon card, video game stuff and japanese subtitles. The way some part are completely delirious and some other are poetic such as this flower at 3:08. The way he included in the clip the making of it. The way the whole thing is a big finger against the usual "clean" stuff TV sell us all the time. This is genius, true, raw personnal expression and few people would be able to make such a profound thing as he did. There is clearly more art in this than in the whole MTV Top 50.
