Lean is so underrated for what he did for indie cloud rap. The rap style, the beats, all influenced a new decade of music. It'll take another decade for kids to dig this up and realize his true legendary status. His first videos were shot in his school and made in front of a green screen and on instruments they had in their band room

I think at the end what he was trying to say was it's not only that he wants others to shine & come together, but he said it himself. Hes happy. Hes learned over the years. Taken some Ls. But look where he is now. He reached the dream he always wanted and that was for his voice with music to be heard. And, now it's time for others to do exactly what he did and make something of themselves and to contribute to the world. My perspective on that statement genuinely impacted me and moved me. This man is absolutely incredible and I dont know what the world would be like without his journey etched into history.

i'm the biggest lean fan in possibly the whole world, but in this interview, he's talking about being sober yet i swearrrr he's high on opioids/opiates. as someone who is now sober from those exact substances, i can identify the signs of someone who's on them. i follow him closely and the first thing i noticed was his pupils being smaller than usual. and notice how he's scratching himself the entire interview as well. he doesn't necessarily say he's sober now, but he kinda implies he's not using currently. don't get me wrong i love lean; these are just my observations! nothing wrong with being high and i understand not wanting to be a bad influence on your fans especially when, in the past, he has romanticized drugs. i just want to hear what other people think.. that's all. no hate whatsoever! luv u big leany.
I'm currently on 100mg of methadone a day and a recovering heroin addict and thought the same thing. Was actually just contemplating how I'm gonna get off the methadone I hate I ever got off it but I couldn't stop using heroin (well fentanyl) and was using 3 grams a day (300$)
Well yeah how tf you reply to a question like that? You know like 90% of people use drugs daily whether it be caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol, or anything else. Kind of like asking "is this the first album you didn't breath on?". If they had asked if he's been sober that would be an reasonable question but no not the way that they asked that question.

i'm the biggest lean fan in possibly the whole world, but in this interview, he's talking about being sober yet i swearrrr he's high on opioids/opiates. as someone who is now sober from those exact substances, i can identify the signs of someone who's on them. i follow him closely and the first thing i noticed was his pupils being smaller than usual. and notice how he's scratching himself the entire interview as well. he doesn't necessarily say he's sober now, but he kinda implies he's not using currently. don't get me wrong i love lean; these are just my observations! nothing wrong with being high and i understand not wanting to be a bad influence on your fans especially when, in the past, he has romanticized drugs. i just want to hear what other people think.. that's all. no hate whatsoever! luv u big leany.

I'm currently on 100mg of methadone a day and a recovering heroin addict and thought the same thing. Was actually just contemplating how I'm gonna get off the methadone I hate I ever got off it but I couldn't stop using heroin (well fentanyl) and was using 3 grams a day (300$)

Well yeah how tf you reply to a question like that? You know like 90% of people use drugs daily whether it be caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol, or anything else. Kind of like asking "is this the first album you didn't breath on?". If they had asked if he's been sober that would be an reasonable question but no not the way that they asked that question.
