I'd put flight in B. No lower than C. As you said, it's fundamental. Flight itself defines a lot of the fights and helps you avoid and dodge. It might not be flashy, but it's very required.
@@davidspraguedragonman6479 True. But Master Roshi doesn't learn to fly specifically to spite the crane school (since it was his rival that came up with the technique in DB before things went space fiction), and Yajirobe just isn't a serious fighter XD
Agreed, flying makes someone significantly faster and harder to hit if they're moving in 3d instead of on the ground. If I could fly, and just blast ki at someone who couldn't fly, they'd be at a major disadvantage.
@@techywillin the same train of thought, Flight and Teleportation is higher than Instant Transmission. Flight is being able to move in 3D, while being upside, and even blinded. Teleportation needs you to focus on the distance and being able to see. Instant Transmission, even if you can go to alternate planes of existence, needs you to focus on SOMEONE ELSE in order to move around, and even then you can't interact with anything while traversing with it. In Gokus case, he has to keep 2 fingers on his head, while Cooler and the Yardrats have fully mastered it but still need to focus while moving. If you want to travel with IT, you better hope there's something you can detect going there. I'm still surprised he didn't put Ki Detection on the list, the ability to sense anything, anywhere, without needing your sight is beyond OP
Solar Flare belongs in A tier minimum. It not only is great for gaining an advantage and getting free hits in, but when a very weak character uses it, it can save their life against a much stronger opponent. We've seen this time and time again against the big bads, Krillin or some other weak fighter immobilizes them and gets away clean. Instant Transmission is the only other technique on this list that can do the same reliably. Also worth noting: Saiyan tails/Transformation. Vegeta demonstrated that with training and experience you can keep your sanity in Giant Ape form.
I could agree with that. Solar flare has been used in clutch situations to escape, so yes it can save your life. Also Vegeta was able to keep his conscious in the Ape form because he trained and was a Saiyan Elite. This is just assuming we would have tails and not be able to control it.
Galick Gun is also literally just an anti Kamehameha you hold your hands up palms out and bring it down and separating your hands where the Kamehameha is holding your palms together and bringing them up connecting your hands at the wrist
Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack should have been at least A tier. It's super versatile, can set up traps, can chase more intelligently and even fire their own beams.
Exactly, and the power of the explosions from them scale with the users power level. Just one of them fucked up Super Buu like nothing. And they were enough of a threat to make Vegito avoid them.@@Olabruh
I think the god bind isn't that the enemy can reverse it if they are strong enough, as much as it is that Broly can copy it in the start of the fight he barely knew how to punch, by the end he was flying and throwing ki blasts all around
I feel super ghost should go up a tier as the ghost can think and use techniques such as the Kamehameha and if they do a solar flare it can disorient an opponent long enough for them to grab on its basically exploding shadow clones.
Funny to rank Dodon Ray and Death Beam differently because they're functionally the exact same attack used by different people. Freiza came up with the same technique and gave it a different name, just like him using Destructo Disk. Also, supposedly Dodon is intended to be Crane School's philosophical equal and opposite to Turtle School's Kamehameha, delivering the same amount of power except concentrated into a single small point, deadly if it hits somewhere vital.
I actually think that the multiple arms CAN be a very useful technique. Only if you can use other techniques with the extra arms. Such as maybe being able to fire two kamehamehas or four destructo discs.
A ki blast barrage and Buu's life exterminating wave is not the same. Ki blast barrage is simply a machine gun fire ki blast where life exterminating wave was an attack that had 100% homing accuracy on human life and enough energy to kill billions of humans in one sitting.
I agree with your Tier List for the most part. The only ones I truly disagree with are Flight, Solar Flare, Ki Blast Cannon and Fusion Dance... While it is indeed fundamental, Flight is more practical than you might think... Characters have been able to avoid many Techniques that (most likely) would've been able to kill them by flying away after all. That's partly why Flight was restricted during the T.O.P. As a Rule, they could've still had it where you had to knock your Opponents out instead of Ringing them out after all, but removing Flight increased the stakes greatly! And being able to get places much faster, such as a Battlefield to urgently help your Allies, is always a plus. As common as it is, I think Flight is at least C-Tier. Solar Flare I feel is *Way* more useful to just be C-Tier, as it can even be life saving if up against a much stronger Opponent - as we've seen Krillin do. Or it's a great way to buy time - as we've seen both Goku and Cell use it for. You can also use Solar Flare to interrupt your Opponent from charging up a powerful and deadly Technique. So I think Solar Flare is actually A-Tier. The one you put in Useless - Ki Blast Cannon... While I wouldn't put it in a High Tier (C at most), it's not as bad as you think. When you use it, your Opponent is basically getting serious whiplash from G-Forces. Think of being on a really fast Amusement Park Ride that suddenly stops - that kinda painful feeling you get (and that's *with* harnesses). Imagine that, only *WAY* more powerful being done to you at will - with nothing holding you down! Plus, we've seen Characters hurl their Opponents through mountains and buildings with this Technique, as well as even stop Ki Techniques with it too. So I feel it's actually a C-Tier Technique at least. And Fusion Dance I'd actually put it in A-Tier instead of Z-Tier. The reason being the requirements necessary for it to work: - The two Fusees need to be close in height and Battle Power. - The Dance required is tricky to perform and *very* specific to where even the *tinest* mistake could mess it up. - Only lasts 30 minutes. Even if you're more powerful than your Opponent, if you're unable to kill them in 30 minutes, you're screwed! Especially since (IIR) you have to wait an hour before trying again!
I know this will be a move not very well known or fully utilized to its most effectiveness due to Bardock not being stronger but what about Final Spirit Cannon?
Yeah, Four Witches was much better before the series started going into energy attacks. Unless of course we could use the Four Witches to supplement the energy attacks XD That would be cool.
@@myrkrormr Exactly! XD Image them spiraling around each other too XD Or using one set of hands to do a ki bind technique, and the other set to blast or Ki Sword

Also Trunks figured out how to condense his ki in an attempt to copy god ki as well which also helped him in his fight vs Zamasu to give the sword a bit of inflated strength.
Remember that the kaiokens downside can be negated based on ki control, as seen with blue. So someone with higher ki control could better use the technique.
8:24 actually supposedly it is a KI attack, the idea being he's enhancing his attacks by focusing ki into his hands, it's just too early into the series for that to be visible.

I would put Fusion in A tier, because you always have a risk of running out of time, while Potara Fusion is much more stronger, even though of course the downside being permanently fused. However, that is of course red-conned as Goku and Vegeta were able to defuse twice.

The Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack Ghosts can use ki attacks as well so should be higher imo. Most of these techniques effectiveness also depends on how powerful the user is.
Yes. It made both Perfect Cell and Jiren take notice when they were massively stronger than him. Gokus strongest Kamehameha didn't do jack shit to Jiren. Kamehameha amplifies power while final flash personifies it.
Galick gun simply evolved into final flash. It was never explicitly stated but since vegeta has always been big on improving himself and taking everything to the next level then it just simply stands to reason he evolved it as it was his finishing move. Besides the first versions of final flash had a similar motions as galick gun.
One technique I always liked was Gogeta's Stardust Breaker/Soul Punisher and besides the great name (I especially prefer Stardust Breaker sounds like a cool attack name to shout) visually it's pretty simple but after he crushes it and throws makes the move becomes sorta invisible and could catch enemies off guard (depending which movie we use for the example). Plus it's not officially stated but like the devilmite beam if you're fighting someone with evil in them it could potentially instantly defeat or purify most enemies (which is why it doesn't work on Broly since he wasn't evil at heart unlike Jenemba who was a being of pure evil) which is great any battle could be done in an instant. I would still rate it at least a B or A however because while it doesn't cause the big explosions like most other moves, it's effectiveness is still not 100% confirmed since it's only been shown to be used twice and the canon use didn't defeat the opponent.
3:34 I’d say that Gallet Gun is superior to the Kamehameha. In the final Beam Clash between it and the Kamehameha, it actually clashes despite Vegeta being so far behind Goku at the end of the fight. This implies that the Gallet Gun draws more energy than the Kamehameha and has a much stronger output
I gotta call cap on the ki blast barrage one. Outside of Super Buu's version of it, those barrages ALWAYS fail. It's practically a meme. Also, flight should definitely be higher. Fun video, though!
Rule 1 of making these tier lists: Never let the flash distract you. You might have broken that with Ultra Instinct. Yes, It's a powerful technique. Yes, it can take down the heavy hitters. But: - Goku could only call upon it while he was backed into a corner (and hasn't been able to do so since). - It takes an extreme amount of ki and strain to keep it going. This was one of the reasons Goku dropped it during the Tournament of Power, though it's one of 2 reasons... - It requires the user to be in a calm and focused state. As we know, Goku's power scales with his emotions (anger specifically) and while it gave UI a big boost, it was also collapsing the form at an alarming rate. I'd put it at A or B tier, leaning heavily towards the B. It's powerful, reactive against other attacks, cool...but unreliable outside of mortal danger, taxing on the mortal body and useless if you don't have a modicum of emotional discipline.
Actually, it's even better than that, The Kaioken seems to only damage your body if you don't know how to control it. Across the series there has been plenty of times Goku uses the technique and has come out of it perfectly fine. It only seems to be when he's under a lot of pressure that it damages his body.
I'd like to point something out: The Kamehameha Goku uses in Z onwards (except the Raditz fight) is a "Super Kamehameha", a stronger version of Roshi's technique that replaced the original in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. They're separate techniques and should have been ranked separately. Also, Goku used the Super Kamehameha against the Galick Gun with Kaioken x3, at which point he would already have a higher power level than Vegeta (Vegeta at 18k, Goku at 24k). Despite the higher power level, the Galick Gun was beating the Super Kamehameha until Goku went x4. So if two people have the same power level, the Galick Gun is actually stronger than the Super Kamehameha. Hence, Galick Gun should be higher in the tierlist.
Tails are actually a lot stronger in GT than you give credit for as it allows transformation into SSJ4, and they can regrow in moments of desparation. Plus Vegeta was able to control himself in great ape form, as are many other saiyans, so it just takes some training to focus up and you get yourself an x10 power boost and kaiju form. Children seem to be the ones that can't control their oozaru rage.
Ki blast spam is in useless tier and it's not even close, ki spam has literally never caught a W in the history of DB and pretty much every time someone uses it their opponent receives exactly 0 damage. (And that's only when you don't outright get clobbered right after using it) If anything, using Ki blast barrage just ensures you'll lose.
Time skip was said and shown to only be effective if you’re at the same level of your opponent. Its kinda a shitty technique if you lose because the other guy simply is stronger like Jiren
"hellzone grenade!" "ah man, its even got a cool name!" on a more serious note, how come (to my knowledge at least) no one in dragon ball has developed any sort of reflect/redirect technique? something like the Starfox characters' reflect shields in smash brothers.
I’m mad that the galick gun, the original rival to the kamehameha was just dropped after the saiyan saga. Well it comes back like once or twice in super but it looked lackluster.
4:22 I want to point out (like a lot of techniques in this list) the 2 times we saw this move, it failed to take out the opponent, or do any lasting damage to said opponent, is the move strong and cool? Yea, but it has shown not to be effective, like the first 2 instances of the spirit bomb
7:16 yo it damages your body, and goku does this in training… is that why his zenkai boost just seems to push him past everyone else? Recovering from his heart condition during the android saga caused but what I think was the use of the kaio-ken so many times. His body would have adapted to that strain. If teen gohan would’ve learned it, vegeta would’ve been cool but i think he would’ve exploded his heart just a short time after. 😂
I wouldn’t put final explosion in b only because in super vegeta survived using it in the t.o.p and I think it’s a c to b tier because of how powerful it was in the t.o.p this is just my opinion
Guido's time stop should be Z tier to be honest, in the hands of an actually strong warrior they'd be almost unbeatable. Hits time skip only applied for fractions of a second and later on a few seconds yet Guldos is until he has to breath which could be until way half a minute..its only let down by Guldo himself being physically weak
Sword of hope is far more useful as you can use it to just keep pummeling an opponent withan extremly powerful melee attack before unloading its full charge. Unlike spirit bomb which is a one and done, can be dodged and only has a 25% success rate in canon
Well technically in the TOP SSBE vegeta did the final explosion and it didn’t kill him since he was way stronger then he was before hand but yeah it’s still possible to kill you if you over exert it
Okay, Body Change needs to be much lower than that. Like at E because we saw Ginyu become WEAKER when he swapped bodies with Goku, because like Goku said “As long as my mind is separated from it, you can’t unlock its full power”
final flash had to charged just like special beam cannon, so not sure the latter deserves to be put 2 tiers below the former. cell and jiren both deliberately waited for FF to charge.
spirit ball a yamcha technique is probably in B with destructo disc because its even more guidable and controllable probably the one technique from yamcha that used ki 🤣
With Tien's extra arms I am sad they didn't bring it back and had him fire 2 kame-hame-ha's at the same time or teach it to someone else who then fires 2.
Vegeta uses final explosion in DBS and doesn't die from it in his ego state, so once powerful enough it be can used it without suffering its drawbacks.
Raditz' scanner states the Kamehameha raises battle power to about double. 8000x2=16000. Kaioken doesn't allow this as kaioken itself is what is amping the power level. Vegetas power is 18000. Goku at x4 is 32000. Vegetas power doubled would be 36000. The beam struggle shows that Vegeta's Galick gun would have to increase his power by 50 to 75%. Final Flash though? Yeah, WAY stronger. Multiply by about a dozen.
I'd put flight in B. No lower than C. As you said, it's fundamental. Flight itself defines a lot of the fights and helps you avoid and dodge. It might not be flashy, but it's very required.

Thanks for this.
The Chocolate beam.
No soul punisher is criminal
3:34 I’d say that Gallet Gun is superior to the Kamehameha. In the final Beam Clash between it and the Kamehameha, it actually clashes despite Vegeta being so far behind Goku at the end of the fight. This implies that the Gallet Gun draws more energy than the Kamehameha and has a much stronger output
I gotta call cap on the ki blast barrage one. Outside of Super Buu's version of it, those barrages ALWAYS fail. It's practically a meme.
Also, flight should definitely be higher. Fun video, though!
"That's Vegeta's technique!" And it shows.
Rule 1 of making these tier lists: Never let the flash distract you.
You might have broken that with Ultra Instinct. Yes, It's a powerful technique. Yes, it can take down the heavy hitters. But:
- Goku could only call upon it while he was backed into a corner (and hasn't been able to do so since).
Yooo, Kayoken is S tier, ok it damages your body, but it just multiplies everything by 2,5, 10 or even 20.
Actually, it's even better than that, The Kaioken seems to only damage your body if you don't know how to control it. Across the series there has been plenty of times Goku uses the technique and has come out of it perfectly fine. It only seems to be when he's under a lot of pressure that it damages his body.
Interesting 🤨 I like to see how you feel about the different jutsu styles in Naruto
Nappa's finger explosion is known as "Giant Storm", as named in Xenoverse 2.
FINALLY NAPPA GETTING SOME ACTUAL LOVE. ❤
7:35 facts I’ve been debates about Nappa before and what always ends then is that
“He levels a city with 2 fingers”
That technique is useful af 😂
The god dam disrespect to wolf fang fist
Yamcha tier. Which is F tier, but even lower.
"hellzone grenade!"
"ah man, its even got a cool name!"
on a more serious note, how come (to my knowledge at least) no one in dragon ball has developed any sort of reflect/redirect technique? something like the Starfox characters' reflect shields in smash brothers.
Prum in the tournament of power had the ability of reflection that redirected opponents' energy attacks.
Anyone one else remember the episode of Z where Frieza blinked and destroyed a whole planet? Z tier
Can’t wait for dragon ball sparkling game hope it doesn’t disappoint
I’m mad that the galick gun, the original rival to the kamehameha was just dropped after the saiyan saga. Well it comes back like once or twice in super but it looked lackluster.
Nice Video Dude
4:22 I want to point out (like a lot of techniques in this list) the 2 times we saw this move, it failed to take out the opponent, or do any lasting damage to said opponent, is the move strong and cool? Yea, but it has shown not to be effective, like the first 2 instances of the spirit bomb
Imagine a galactic donut, but with Kienzan (destructo disc) properties...
I feel we need Mr. Piccolo nephew Gohan Special beam cannon. It would be funny.
Super ghost kamikaze attack can also shoot beams don't forget all the ghost can use techniques too 👀👀 it's B tier at best
Neat tier list.
Yooooo can u do transformations tier lists pls
Let’s not forget Vegeta Know how to use Instant Transmission now too
I wouldn’t put final explosion in b only because in super vegeta survived using it in the t.o.p and I think it’s a c to b tier because of how powerful it was in the t.o.p this is just my opinion
12:50 reminds me a lot of the manga version of the hakai
Shockwave is not useless. It's dbz's many ways to assert your dominance.
It is higher because it is most useful as an emergency 180 on an opponent, especially if you are nearly dead.
final flash had to charged just like special beam cannon, so not sure the latter deserves to be put 2 tiers below the former. cell and jiren both deliberately waited for FF to charge.
Boy ngl hell zone grenade being b tier is crazy
spirit ball a yamcha technique is probably in B with destructo disc because its even more guidable and controllable probably the one technique from yamcha that used ki 🤣
Super ghost can literally do a Kamehameha?? And it's C tier??? Crazy
Tho NonCanon , The Kamehameha-Kick from the Emoverse is my favourite
DAU Cell doing a multiform could be fun. Then Multiforms attempting fusion would be weird fun.
13:27 It's actually called "Vegeta's Technique(tm)"
So what tier would Dead Zone go to?
Flying should at least be b tear makes battles 3d instead of 2d and adding an entire dimension to your ability to dodge is a huge plus in a battle
With Tien's extra arms I am sad they didn't bring it back and had him fire 2 kame-hame-ha's at the same time or teach it to someone else who then fires 2.
Video was good
Vegeta uses final explosion in DBS and doesn't die from it in his ego state, so once powerful enough it be can used it without suffering its drawbacks.
He also was able to survive using it against G.O.D. Toppo during the ToP
@@jefferyoneill1 I think thats what he meant and meant evolved ssb, not ego.
You forgot the most stronger technique. The HAKKAI
I'm surprised you didn't put soul punisher in this list
Great video
Slight issue with the kamehameha vs galic gun. Galic gun is MUCH stronger. The kameha that goku shot vs galic gun was a kaioken x4 kameha.
Not sure if I'm listening to Kermit or a younger version of Cell 😁
Liked the video but feels like some parts are missing. Techniques where there's no footage, just the tier list.
Special beam cannon was disrepsected, deserves at least B tier
Would sphere of destruction be a technique and if so what would you rate it?
Tri beam should be higher. The multiplier itself is insane as shown with Tien vs Cell
Agreed. Tri beam is pretty much a spammable, quicker final flash at the cost of life.
