Yeah swear away. All good. Visited Brissy before Christmas but didn't get to explore. Not familiar with too many places. BUT I did notice this tunnel as I passed by on the Rivercat and wondered what was in there. Now I know! Thanks Brisbae.
I did the batcave a couple of years ago. Had to take down the video, but thinking about a return. You've just got me excited, as there's far more bats there in this video than when I was in there.
Good onya lads for having a go. Reckon red filter on your torches would let your eyes adjust, and you'll see heaps. May not freak out the bats as much but just guessing
I love exploring, but please people if your gunna do this be aware, these drains can fill in an almost instant to the top with heavy rain or water releases, Especially the ones that are super clean, it means that the current is so much through there that it actually pressure blasts the walls clear of stuff. So youd have no hope of surviving.
Nah, swear away, those bats are fucked. If you do it again, wear some longer sleeves and stuff so you're less likely to get bit. Bats carry some gnarly disease and shit bro so watch out.
Aren't there meant to be tunnels under the CBD, where are they and how do you get access? If there are bomb shelters I bet they have tunnels connected to them.
Does anyone know where this comes out if anywhere. I was looking around Dutton Park the other day because I heard someone there. I think it near where trains are
End of Colin st, off Gloucester st. You can start from there, and go all the way to K Point. You have to time it so that it's around low tide at the river end, otherwise you'll get a lot wetter.
hmm idk, i'm probably not the best person to ask. if you're looking for places to explore, well you can walk/drive around and just look, google 'abandoned places brisbane' etc. tbh, i think this channel is probably the best resource, i'd bet a lot of people just go explore the places in my videos. at least that way you can know what youre getting yourself into. as for actually doing the explore, well i'm not the safest or most responsible explorer so i shouldn't really give advice. i think the surprise and danger (physical or legal) is what makes it fun. if you're good at climbing, running away/parkour then that may come in handy, but otherwise the best preparation you can really do is to just grow huge balls
@@Brisbae legit been hearing about the death stairs/old mall next to the met. didn't really click until a tiktok about it popped up and me being like "oh that's the closed off alley next to the met?" watching your video about it, fuck its 100% more cooked and definitely not the place for a beginner. heard the old woolloongabba hotel thingy is pretty good for newbies though

Thanks, I didn’t even consider that. Will keep in mind if I ever go back.
I’m getting Pennywise vibes down there, wonder if they find little Georgie, they all float down here.
Id say this is the best place to start urbex because the entrance is accessible, you cant get lost, and when entering/exiting no1 stops you
Haha obviously haven’t been to many spots then🤣
Walked all the way back for nothing, ouch! Shoulda turned left😙
Two words , flash flood .
I’ll take my chances
Two words. Check weather
Not likely in brisbane
One word, “Batman”
@@matthewberry1738true, Gold Coast is the ‘real hole’ in SEQ.
Thats insane just be careful around Bats there is a tunnel in Ferny grove where i used to live when i was kid yep im Brissie boy, born and bred 😊
Which tunnel in Ferny grove? I’m local to the area and I’m not sure which one you’re talking about.
Better to start at the other end and exit on the river

Apparently some of these tunnels lead to huge openings, maybe under the city? Cool stuff
They're called storm water drains
i was looking at some of the spot ive been to on yt and found this idk if its the same place but pretty sure it takes you to a rly nice view
There's tunnels all under the city I worked at a cafe next to a record shop that had a never ending tunnel out the back

@BlueSpaceLizard I just missed low tide by 25 minutes and had to go through knee deep water to get out the main entrance
Great job guys. Who built this hole ?
CFMEU did mate

@@painfulbunny Yeah woolloongabba hotel is pretty chill/easy to get into. There are some sketchy bits but it depends how high up you want to go.
Last time i went there was no bats 😢
i have an abandoned factory location in ipswich, lmk if you’re interested

Yeah if you keep going straight down that tunnel there is 2nd junction
Ehats at the 2nd Junction?
Took my little boat up there once.
