₱2-BILLION AIRPORT to make BUKIDNON a top tourist destination Ft. DON CARLOS

Our vlog today is a road trip going to Bukidnon to see personally the progress and status of the on-going Bukidnon Domestic Airport in Don Carlos. Driving from uptown CDO, entering the province of Bukidnon via Talakag. Making a few stops to eat and rest. I am going to show you some random spots along my trip to give you an idea of what Bukidnon looks like. From Talakag, I will drive further to Maramag's North Población. Maramag is the closest neighbor of Don Carlos. A busy Bukidnon town itself and also a candidate for cityhood in the future. Like Maramag, Don Carlos is also huge and has wide roads. It has a very busy town center, with established businesses. I will take you to the town's famous carenderia which you may be interested to eat when you will have the chance. Apart from this must-go to place, I will also take you to the town's major tourist attraction- Lake Pinamaloy. Very serene, very green with all nature surrounding you when you are here. From Lake Pinamaloy, we will head to our last and main destination for today's vlog, the airport in Maraymaray, Don Carlos- Bukidnon Domestic Airport.

Nakarating ako ng Bukidnon going to Wao, Lanao del Sur noong 1982. Pangit pa noon ang Bukidnon - ma-alikabok at baku-bako ang mga daan, kunti pa lang ang mga buildings, at maraming MILF at NPA... Looks beautiful na ngayon ang Bukidnon...
Oh, by the way, mayroon akong inibig noon na taga-Manolo Fortich. Tabetha Quindala pangalan nya, from Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Sad lang eh hindi kami nagkatuluyan due to LDR kami nun... Hindi ko alam kung may asawa na sya now or kung nasaan na sya... Pero minahal ko talaga sya ng labis....

If you would notice, all international airports are stationed in major metropolitan centers such as in Manila, Cebu, Davao and soon to be at CDO (Laguindingan) because of economic factors such as population and local economy. So it would be unrealistic for Don Carlos to become an international airport. Not all domestic airports that were build nationwide can become an international airport, it has to pass the required criteria of global standards in order to be accredited as an international airport.

@@rodulfobokingo8832 Yes, the building/construction is in line with the international standards but what I meant was the necessary criteria like the # of tourists that are visiting daily, the # of flights daily, the aviation equipments of the airport to cater international airplanes, a hub for the international airplanes to station and etc. If the airport has these things that I few mentioned, it can have the chance to pass the required criteria of the international aviation regulations. This what I meant by international standards.
