  • Come learn this incredible technique for building modular Sci-fi terrain. Walls & Walkways, the first part in our Killteam board, suiting any gnarly Sci-fi/industrial terrain. Your project is only limited by how many of these you can make.
Using material from around the house and a few choice bits from the workshop, Q's scratch building some Walls & Walkways. The idea is, any wargames board, especially as packed and dense as a killteam board, needs to have super dynamic scenery that you can change between games. Well, this is the first step, and Q's developing these techniques in the next video, so be sure to give it a watch!
Walls & Walkways is the next step in Q's crusade to perfect his greebling technique, building on our Sci-fi fundamentals guide.
You can check out how to get a cheap and easy rust effect in this video: • Greebling! The ULTIMAT...
Then, you can see just how far you can take the technique in this epic centrepiece: • Game-Board Finale! Scr...
Hope you like the video, and get building some of your own terrain! don't forget to smash that like button and if you wanna hit up our socials go for it, and until next time, Trihard!

I've been thinking about making a killteam board with a similar theme. Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice. Great to have re-arrangeable scenery pieces, even better if each piece can do multiple jobs :)

Very inspiring, love the wire stuck to the tape in group... as for paint, is it 2 layers, the first mixed with extra water, the second normal? thanks.

thank you man, yes the paint first with the thin watered down layer so the black comes through and then the thicker paint (patchy)over the top after the first layer has dried.
Again though feel free to paint in your own scheme, as this was just a quick & easy example of our own idea :)

@@TrihardGamesWorkshop thanks! yeah I started priming in black then coating once with burnt amber and drybrushing gunmetal, but lately I have gone full Grimdark: patchy textured enamel over black, then metal coat, then brown oil, then remove brown with spirits to selectively show metal underneath, last some sparse black smoke oil and enamel rust streaks...
