The point where induced drag and parasite drag meet, suggests that Induced drag equals Parasite drag at that point. It is also known as Vmd, (airspeed at which the total drag is minimum and the aircraft can glide at its best efficiency) any change in the airspeed or AOA at Vmd, will result in the increase of Total drag. Hence Vmd is always achieved at the optimum angle of attack, that is 4°.
It's known as the velocity for best lift versus drag or "best lift/drag ratio". This particular speed will permit the optimum endurance of the aircraft. Particularly important for glider pilots.🙂
Your videos are so helpful to understand the mechanism pf aviation One request please I don't know if this request is ok or not You decide I request you to make proper series on jet fighter planes , their changes in structure over time and how they are different than commercial plane
The background music is too high so i can't even understand some words. And please talk slowly. Your videos are very helpful for me but please improve the thing what i told just a min before. Thank you
hie was trying to access your website but its says service unavailable. Would really like to have a link to your webpage, if you could please add it here. thanks
Thank you for your feedback. Our website is not finished yet. I'm sorry but we've been busy flying and creating these videos that the website launch got delayed. Please keep on checking in, there will be more videos and the website coming this year.
+flight-club awesome. I really enjoyed the videos. Great job. Easy to understand and enjoyable too. I really look forward to more videos as well as the website.

Thanks. Informative
@@vijaytamang3450 I also found it informative Vijay! happy flying fellow aviator :)
Thanks for this.
Searched for ages but this is the only channel that provided a proper series on aviation. Thank you very much and good luck!
Glad it was helpful! Much appreciate your positive feedback.
Simple and straight to the point. Good show!
Amazing, your video is very helpful. Hope to see more videos from your channel. Keep it up 👍

Best L/D ratio will provide maximum range. 75% of the Vmd speed (min drag speed) will provide maximum endurance
Great explanation 💪🏻
LDmax, or also called the best Glide speed. Creates greatest amout of lift with the least amount of drag.
The point at which the two drag curves are at their lowest represents the Vimd (velocity indicated minimum drag).
Very informative! Thanks very much!
beautiful explanations as always but i suggest if the background music can be reduced. thank you
Thanks again for another great video.
Our pleasure.
Fast, easy, simple, great vid!
thank you for making this video.

Today is my daughter's 22nd birthday. I haven't seen her since 2017.
The background music is too high so i can't even understand some words. And please talk slowly.
Your videos are very helpful for me but please improve the thing what i told just a min before.
Thank you
Thanks for the feedback.
Vmd - minimum drag speed
You CRAZY AS A FRICKIN LOON if you think you're going to drag me around today. I'll grab some popcorn tho and watch the show later on. ZAP FULL FORCE.
Now I understand total concept, in aerospace class all got beyond brain 😀.
same reason im here :P
i subbed too
Do they, so educational
Means the airspeed which produce the lowest drag, it means the most energy efficient airspeed
Ryan Cheng 'Minimum-drag speed' :)
Best Glide/ Minimum drag
You are doing a great job but It would be better to reduce the background sound. it reduces the effectiveness of video.
Perfect Vid : )
Haha, maybe not perfect but thank you :)
What happens on the back of the wing when the low pressure flow meets the high pressure flow???
when extending flaps, Induced drag or parasite drag increases??
Parasite drag increases as the flap deviation increases i guess, am i right?
Total Drag
and can you give the relation between airspeed and parasitic air drag
Am I right to assume that the deflected airflow that partly makes the average local airflow would be the downwash??
Yep :)
i think this just solved ground effect for me! O.O

Lift to drag ratio, total drag, the minimum amount of drag acting on the aircraft
that meet point indicates minimum drag point . am i right ?
this helped alot thx
The background noise/music is not necessary. Otherwise good video!
The two points that meet in the middle is called what is known to be total drag. Total drag is made up of both induced and parasite drag.
What is the name of music added to the video?
Still i am not understanding 😔
Is it the best glide speed?
flight-club isn't the drag proportional to the air speed?
Drag = 1/2 x Coeff x density x V^2 x A.
How come the drag decrease with higher speed?
That's the induced drag that decreases with higher speed. Your formula is for the parasitic drag.
minimum drag
Minimum drag speed Vmd
I am preparing for the aerospace engineering please guide me that which sub i should focus more.
Please make some videos on that.... Please guide.....
Please lose the music, so distractive! Otherwise very informative lecture(s)
Thank you for the feedback and kind words.
No pls because this motivates us
Vmd (Minimum Drag Speed)
LD Max
VG
vmd
Oh. This is not the drag I was looking for. Byyyyeeee!
min Tr
VIMD
background music irrrrrrrritates
daaaamn another hundreds of unmemorised atpl questions.
just lower the music volume a bit please
I totally agree, the music is too loud. Thanks for the feedback.
