- I've asked DattoDoesDestiny to help me clean out my Destiny 2 Vault because I have a hoarding problem and hopefully he can tell me what to keep and what to delete. Except... it's worse than he could've thought.

I like how quickly it escalated when you look from the beginning of the vid, then towards the end. It went from *I dont want to delete anything* to *starts deleting it before datto even finished his sentence* 🤣
Keeps sunset weapons he hasn't masterworked but shamelessly deletes amazing rolls of current guns before Datto even has a say in it :D
The fact Datto roasts you for a WHOLE HOUR makes this awesome already

The Fallout and Datto roasts were nice, but I knew going in that they were probably not horrible considering they both do a lot of playing and testing.
But Mr. Fruit? Man of 1000 weapon reviews? Yeah I'm ready to see every hoarded Mindbender, Spare Rations, and Gnawing Hunger in existence
I'd like to follow this up by saying that this inspired me to clean out my own vault, and I didn't realize I was holding on to so much stuff that you could just pull back out of collections if you ever felt like it.

@@dankerbell yeah its always super difficult for me when we get new guns as a) i dont already have a favorite roll and b) i dont know what might be good or not as their are no recommendations (e.g. by pandapaxxy) besides the questionable comments on light gg, so i often just put it mostly unfiltered into my Vault to deal with it at a later date. easily ramping up 50+ guns over a few days
Datto could literally start a secondary business cleaning out people's vaults and roasting them on the side.
That wouldn't be side that would take over his main business.

Not only did Fruit have to listen to Datto REAMING his vault for an hour. But he also had to go back and listen to it all again to add in the glass-breaking sound for each dismantle. Props sir! But also...are you okay??

That trackless waste was actually an amazing roll. There are zero non-sunset adaptive smgs in the game. Adaptive smgs are the best frame to use I'm the crucible, the one place where non sunset weapons can still be used. It also had kill clip and scopes making it one of the best smgs you could possibly have right now, only beaten by heroes burden in the energy slot.
There's a blue adaptive thats not "technically" sunset, but ya...theres no legendary ones available anymore

@@beki7408 oh I forgot about the Harmony-21 being adaptive energy...I was thinking of the Protostar CSu in the kinetic slot...have to give the energy one a go
I think at this point, the shayura's wrath and multimach beat out most smg's.
He also scrapped his Hero's Burden 😭
I thought my vault was bad when I was cleaning through mine and I cleared over 100 spaces but my god, yours is much worse. That fact that you're making Datto physically ill with some of those garbo rolls is gold.
What's amazing about that scathlocke is that it just has one kill on it in PvE. Not 10 or 3, one. So froot just went into PvE killed one thing and put it away never to shoot again.

im 20 minutes in and this is great. I've been watching the datto vault cleaning videos and I didn't know I wanted to watch a Mr Fruit vault cleaning as much as I'm enjoying this.

As someone who has around 300 open slots in their vault, videos like this baffle me. That being said, Mr. Fruit was very willing to delete a lot of stuff in his vault, which is commendable.
I just mostly keep what seems like a god roll or perks I haven't actually used/seen in a few seasons
Deep down he knew what he had in there was more rancid than last years garbage tho… empirically and coming from a collector of fine weapons with constant vault problems. He had neglected that poor vault and it showed lol
I feel like this is a form of therapy for Fruit. Some great memories with these weapons and although they are gone they are not forgotten ... maybe ...
MR FRUIT!!! THAT SNAPSHOT CELERITY EYE OF SOL SNIPER FROM WARMIND! Snapshot got moved to the second column in later seasons so you can't get that combination anymore. Very nice.

As someone who doesn't play Destiny too often I had a _visceral_ reaction to the amount of legendary shards going to waste, I think my poor is showing.
It killed my heart to watch him delete that tunnel vision / timed payload annual skate.
this makes me want to log in and do a purge myself, clearing out vault space can be very refreshing

That was awesome! Thanks Mr. Fruit and Datto. I thought my vault was a complete mess and I'm just a regular, sub-par ability player. To see that my vault was in better shape (though also a mess) than Fruit's made me feel a lot better about myself. No insult intended! I totally understand the hoarder mentality. I REALLY struggled with getting rid of my 21% Delirium as well as it took forever to get and then was sunset a month after I did.
Oh my...... My vault may be as bad as Fruits..... Gonna be a long night..... I don't have a Datto 😭😭

Ngl deleting both Seventh Seraph shotguns with QUICKDRAW VORPAL without even looking at the rest of the perks was kind of stupid. Out of everything up to the 38 minute mark those deserved an inspection at the very least.

My vault is only exotics weapons and masterworked god roll weapons. About 42/500 of my vault is used.

This was fun :) I'm definitely a bit of a hoarder myself (though also a bit of a germaphobe, so at least my junk is *clean).*
My mother periodically gets fed up with the clutter and "helps" me by tidying up and occasionally commenting, "What is this?" "Do you want to keep this?" "Why the heck do you want to keep this?" "This is more hole than shirt." "Not even the thrift store will want this." "Do you have another drawer for socks- one that isn't overflowing?" "Do you have a third sock drawer?" "Have you seen how much cat fur is on the socks that you didn't put away?" etc. I love her, and it really does help. Occasionally she even finds stuff I haven't seen for...well, for a very long time.
But she can't touch all the useless computer files I have squirreled away on my external hard drive :P
