I actually build a Bilbo life gain deck and I've gained enough life to get the ability, someone usually field wipes or spot removes it before I can trigger it have both life total win cons in the deck.
Got to 130 by turn 7 then in perfect lore cast the one ring to protect it. Very satisfying. Said his whole fair well speech to the table and got pounded the next game
I like us to bounce spells or either kill spells on creatures that can't to be countered cuz its funny to me when you spend 8 mana only for it to be bounced
Dude I just made a deck list for sauron the dark lord and I put mirkwood bats in it and I just changed a card in My juri master of the revue sacrifice Deck with Mirkwood bats Edit: just put there and back again in my sauron deck mostly because I love the Hobbit then it being annoying to play against but I get to piss off my friends
Mirkwood Bats is one of the best cards from the set. I don’t know why the rules committee thought about banning it when there are far more back breaking cards.
@@LVMTG yeah and my friends keep pulling expensice cards and when I buy packs I don't open shit.. so I'm just buying the new zacama and no chance in gambling outside genshin impact
That’s sad about bilbo players. I play him and have no win con. I don’t attack. I just try to gain as much life as possible without using combos. Bilbo is fun!!
Stop trying to ban cards before playing with them. PLAY MORE REMOVAL PEOPLE. Commander and Cedh share a banlist, so let the people who play cedh have their cards and self police yourself in your play groups. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
Ong the amount of casual edh players that yell on the top of their lungs about how the game should work based on little experience is a number bigger than my deck price
There's always the dude in a playing group that whines about banning every card that he doesn't like or considers too strong and it's annoying af "i don't play mana vault because it's too strong" Then don't complain if you lose against someone that uses it
If someone gets to 111 life with Bilbo they deserve the win 😂.
That is true. I wanted to build Bilbo but everyone at the LGS seems to be brewing that one. I went with Lord of Nazgūl and it is a fun one

Mirkwood bat getting banned? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah, right. They didn't even ban Dockside Extortionist. And I like that card.
Or thassas oracle
That is true. I don’t know why though posted articles about banning it. I’d cry if they’d ban Thoracle
@@LVMTG it needs to go
Very unhealthy card
@joshdavies1009 everyone else's Dockside Extortionist: loads of money
My Dockside Extortionist: The best I can do is 4.
@@aaronbennett3966 dockside is funny goblin compared to thassas oracle
Bilbo's flavor win is insane. Great idea
I think it might be my favorite LOTR card
Imagine managing to activate bilbo only for it to be stifle'd or trickbind-ed
That is true pain. Almost as bad as your fetch getting stifled.
Challenge: Edh players not screaming good cards should be banned.
Impossible
Definitely impossible
If Bilbo player gets to 111 life, you deserve nothing but complete darkness.
That’s dark
The prerelease was on my birthday, so I want to build a Bilbo Birthday Celebrant deck. After all, why shouldn’t I? Why shouldn’t I build it.
Why shouldn’t you?
Uncounterable doesn't mean much if no one plays blue xd
I always play blue even when I don’t
Bats aren't going to be banned and neither are the bow masters
Yeah I saw the news come out they might possibly ban it. I was skeptical

My Bilbo deck doesnt run Serras ascendant but it should.
Im just doing clerics and tokens until we have our birthday party drain everyone to death.
What a way to celebrate

Yeah it’s definitely expensive

Facts tho, I played mirkwood bats and one turn determined my friends limitless mana effect 😢 I won!😂
Create or sacrifice is nuts!
Yes. I’m building a Tivit deck right now and Mirkwood Bats was the first include
@@LVMTG supposedly we better use em before they become banned 😒

Who needs wincons
It takes forever to collect rare wildcards 😢
Yes yes it does. That’s why I stick with just paper for now
Mirkwood bats won't be banned in commander because it takes multiple cards to make it broken
They banned biorhythm. You can’t predict what they’ll ban.
Why do they look weird
Because they are Pokémon cards
