old tape of surfing some new sky channels from early 2004, lost the full tape but had this snippet left on my hard drive, i'll try find the other snippets
I love this series so much, it’s something only ship nerds get and it makes it so much cooler if you know the history about these ships.

@@grantlathrop6837That's pretty much the gist of it. In a greater sense, Jack's universe tweaks the stories of these liners to being vastly different from their real life counterparts.
Edit: For those of us who know full well the back stories of the liners mentioned in this series, it really does seem like some shit of the Twilight Zone.

So Olympic somehow survived into 1998, with people completely aware of an unknown thing called the 'mesh' eating her from the inside (which also killed multiple people), disappeared for 6 years, reappeared randomly completely stripped of paint and with nobody on board, and they're still down to tow her back to port? Dawg just call her a loss 😭
I have a theory, the mesh was created by the Britannica project
These days, if they knew about the mesh, you'd get people trespassing on it for internet views 😂

I bet here from out we will now hear about Royal Navy Ships being infected such as one of the Carriers or Destroyers. It would be interesting if PB it's self as a company is still around that it would be now under government management to prevent the mesh from infecting all over sea travel as it appeared to do in the 1910s although it appears it was some how contained. We need to hear about newer recent examples of mesh infected ships such as QE2 maybe.

It got found earlier this year in an adult movie of all things, & has been re-recorded by the original artists (Christopher Booth & Philip Booth, who released music under the name “Who’s Who” in the 1980s)

I would ask Netflix to make a full series or a movie on this… but knowing them, they’d cancel it after one season like many good shows, including 1899, if it were a show.

I really love the horror analog in an alternate universe is the fact there was not any jumpscares. but its the fact that it just makes it sound and make you feel a bit creeped out

I look forward to all of the future installments as this is a horror series built on actual suspence and ambience rather than "oh look guys big scarry monster." i could not agree more with you deltazeta, i just like it simply its an alternate universe for the ocean liners and had a vibe where it makes you feel a little creeped out, instead of a shit ton of unnecessary unexpected jumpscares and such

The biggest question this video leaves me with is... what the hell is going on with the B Deck promenade?
It looks like the opened portion at the stern for Second Class passengers has been somewhat shortened, but not as much as it was on Titanic. Did they just... install HALF a Cafe Parisien or something? Expand only half of the port side of the A La Carte Restaurant out to the hull?
In fact... I can't really tell, but it looks like Olympic has less windows on B Deck, meaning that the promenade has likely been filled in with additional cabins as they did on Titanic.
I'm seeing it too, it's like Olympic was given 50% of Titanic's B deck but with more additional suites. Interestingly it seems only the port side was modified as it appears her starboard side was left untouched from what I can see in the 1st video.
Now I'm imagining that they fused Olympic's starboard half and Titanic's port half together. That's probably not what happened (since I suck at crafting theories), but it's just a thought. After seeing what the Britannic looked like in the previous video with her missing gantry davits and lifeboats at the 1st funnel and stern, the entire Olympic-Class is very broken in this universe.
@@G011d3n Some commenters say that the Mesh is altering reality. That might be a valid assumption, since as you said, the Olympic-class seems to be broken in this universe.
Perhaps it's similar to the illusion discs from FNAF; your sense of sight is deceiving you and what you are seeing isn't necessarily what's there.
Hypothetically speaking, what if this series actually took place in our own universe, but reality, or our sense of reality, has been warped. But not entirely warped, however, as aside from ocean liner history being fundamentally altered, this universe isn't much different from our own. We still got Rick Astley in this universe, thank God.
Either way, whatever is happening, it begs the question: Why do the Mesh's alterations of history only affect ocean liners?
Sorry if that was a long one, I tend to ramble. I personally don't consider myself all that good at crafting theories either.

so after the Olympic found the over missing ocean line the Olympic goes missing and reappears I’m guess this mesh is and infection that can’t be rid off when it get a hold of a ship it will spread until anything living of none and the ship inside would look the same before it was painted
