The entire brigade road, church street stretch shd be made pedestrian only, that's when the real beauty of these streets will come out
Not possible, that was the intial plan but the shopkeepers & their union along with people who actually reside on those streets made it impossible.
This is brigade road one of my favorite street in Bangalore....
It looks so clean, even the people seems to wear different outfits from what i've seen in Mumbai and Delhi.
because its the cleanest 1% area of Bangalore. other 99% is completely dirty

@@martinluther4720 I lived here all my life you d,umb-ass piece of sh-it. Except near the some green-line metro area in central and south part, the entire city is a load of garbage. Smelly streets, people throwing thrash on footpath, street vendors enchroaching footpaths, never ending construction works, etc. Ever been through silk board traffic? Ever been in rrnagar bottleneck? Ever drove beside the Kengeri mori? Ever been to KR market via satellite? Ever been through Baiyappanahalli traffic? Fųc,k this city

It is totally different from other indian cities, it lookslike an American city. Even people walking around all looks gorgeous with their trendy modern attire. When hearing the honking, then I realised it is in India.

If this video made Indians proud, then India has a LONG WAY to go. The streets scene looks and feels like Shanghai or Shenzhen 20 or 30 years ago, crowded, dusty, noise, disorganized… India is full of excitement today but also way behind China.

This part of Bangalore namely Brigade road, Church Street and MG road is always clean not now but since the British times. During the 1960's upto 2000 well mannered and well dressed people only use to frequent these area mostly communicating in English. But now all kinds of people come to this area, over crowded and the charm is lost.
I have spent my golden days in bangalore. Its my second home. Thank you for refreshing my memo❤

this is great, i havent been to Bangalore yet, however i do travel quite a bit and I often hear from my fellow americans this weird belief that the rest of the world doesnt have the things they do, this is AS modern as any high street in europe or the usa and in some cases much cleaner than places like South Street in Philadelphia for example. Thanks for sharing, hope you dont mind me holding this up as an example to the stupid and nationalistic.
Order is ingrained in the western brain which isn't a bad thing but what they should understand is that it's really not difficult to replicate that anywhere in the world as you see in this video, it's just a choice. Western looking is considered progress but people used to flock to these streets even in the 80's or 90's when it wasn't so western looking, buildings had no flashy exterior & the streets weren't cobblestoned with proper footpaths on either sides.

1. Streets in China cities were much quieter. Horn was banned. Motorcycles were restricted. Much more luxury cars.
2. High-rises were everywhere in cities.
3. Cities traffic flows were much smoother, better organized.
4. Youngsters on streets dressed much more stylish and fashioned.
5. No baggers, no littering on street.

@@cuckoonut1208 Yes, HSR Layout, Commercial Street, Indiranagar 100ft Rd, Kormangala, Jayanagara 4th Block. I believe Bangalore city will develop more high streets than any other Indian city as it expands.
