Would you recommend going for caustic splatter damage near the end of the pack? 2. Would it not be handy to have a weakaura that counts the amount of garrote and ruptures out?

the damage on MA, especially during shadow dance windows, is pretty good. But you can drop it for a minor dps loss if you want to for the utility of flying daggers or something, yes
if you dont care about losing a bit of ST/boss damage, and you find yourself using vanish a lot for reapplying bleeds anyway(instead of using it for the last 3-4 sec of KB), its not really a big deal. The main value in MA comes from using it to juice the end of KB(when KB is at its strongest) to do big prio dmg and big splatter cleave, but it is a bit more of a min-max/advanced thing to worry about.

Question, would you say it's important to track amp/deadly poison on nameplates? I'm trying to help my boomer brain out a bit and reduce nameplate clutter and I'm curious how much you really track and play around those.
If i drop tea to get range and really want to keep the 10%leech, how much dämäge do i lose? In theory, range can increase dmg every now and then... so... How expensive is tea withput getting echo?

I see you have a Mutilate/Ambush Macro and Mutilate on an extra bind. Is there a scenario where you need an extra binding for mutilate or ambush or can I go with only the macro?

I noticed that you don't end up using Shiv during the "General" rotation (i.e. w/o Cooldowns). Was that intentional as it's not worth, or would you ideally want to use that on Cooldown?
I think it's fine at 2 additional honestly. Would be a bit smoother if we weren't trying to also cram Kingsbane into Shadow Dance, but I think overall it's perfectly fine as is
idk damage seems good to me, I was dunking warlocks in keys. Assa is reduced after 5 targets on everything so I guess it scales just as well into 8 target as any other 5-target-reduced spec, it's all square root scaling
I have not tested it in actual keys on ptr since the performance over there is pretty bad for me. However doing some tests on the training dummy I am almost doing the same damage on 5target dummies now as I do on live servers on my sub rogue. I only pushed to 22s this season on my sub but I am top damage in my keys over 90% of the time. So if assa can come close to this damage I wont be complaining especially after what abomination assa was up until 10.1.7. Yes 5target dummy cleave is not directly comparable to what you will actually be doing in keys but even being able to somewhat compete to sub is a godsent. On live my peak assa burst dps is lower than my regular sub rogue dps without cooldowns. So even being able to be compared to other classes is a big W for assa :D
uh, I could, but it's going to be very very short I'm going to be honest. My deathmark has potion macro'd to it, and I have a mouseover macro for my tricks of the trade, and that's really it, the rest is just PTR testing nonsense
@@whispyr5793 yea lot of bladestorming mobs like in bracken can only be safely hit with that range. I wonder how much of that is in the new M+ dungeons. Im not familiar with them
very worth it, it's a large part of your damage. When you're target swapping all over the place to cast bleeds it's a little tricky, but if you aren't swapping every 3 seconds, caustic is prio #1
sorry you feel like that. I don't quite understand how it's more busy work when carnage exists and caustic enables all your single target cooldowns to cleave, but I'm personally a big fan

turns out having more energy and some mastery is pretty good damage, and leeching is uh... not damage :P

I mean you can take it at a dps loss if you'd like. Acrobatic Strikes is a very powerful utility point that often gives dps, so the trade off is there

Got 0 haste on PTR, Single Target is a pain than. Will it get better with around 1000 or 2000 haste? 😅
haste does not significantly impact the speed of the rotation
