That’s so so true. A lot of guys aren’t doing it because looking at losers is painful and taking ownership of your losses do make a lot of people cringe. I got one spreadsheet with basic data and one monthly powerpoint where I put a screenshot of all my trades and sometimes more than one if I cut it too soon and stayed too long. And I purposefully look for weaknesses and repeated errors. You got to know your patterns to be able to improve them.
thanks very much, i do that on my daily life for personal troubles, i journal my day to see where am failing, thanks very much it does make sense ...😃😃😃
This seems like the worst period. Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high, today I am more than 60% down!
I’ve been studying my past trade images for a long time now, trying to improve my edge. I can see something but to define exactly what to repeat the same thing in future trades has proven very difficult. I feel I have arrived at a solution and will move forward with the subsequent embedments to my trading strategy but I am already thinking of additional aspects which may also be included in the future once I have some more trade time with these changes and the data I will collect. The quirk I have found when analysing past trades to improve, it can have the opposite impact in the time being where your trading results actually get worse due to losing the nuances in discretion from other thinking.

You never fail to deliver reality. Always appreciate what you put down.
