I’m so happy Mark said “I’m proud of you” at the end. I so want to tell this man the same thing. A man who never had a male role model really needs to hear that! I can’t imagine how hard it was to kick drugs when he was surrounded by them every day. Amazing strength.
This guy is one of the few honest people on the platform. He is a role model for addicts. I really enjoy listening to him. Crack addiction is the toughest one to beat.

One of the most positive interviews I’ve seen in this channel. So many are sad hopeless stories. I really hope this guy stays sober and inspires others.
I really love this guy! I hope you use your experience and the lessons you have learned to help others. I wish you so much love, strength and peace. Cheers, from Country Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Tony, wishing all those plenty of years left to be happy, healthy ones. I'm sorry to hear all you've been through & so inspired to see you turn your life around. I wish all of Marks interviews had a recovery ending. Inspiring 🤍

I love to see a positive recovery story in all of the turmoil that mental health and substance abuse can cause. While I enjoy all the sad stories it’s great to see someone like tony wanting sobriety and a better life. Thank you mark for allowing us to get a glimpse at the lives of so many people.
Getting off alcohol is harder than any drug! It’s so dangerous & scary with the DT’s. I’ll get there and this dude is a MASSIVE inspiration! Thank you!
lovely interview. what a sober sounding bloke! My hat off to you for such an achievement. When people have been through stuff they just sound so clear, they resonate with that lived wisdom.
congratulations Tony. Very very happy for you. They say people, places, and things, we need to stay away from, I hope if you , always put your sobriety first Tony, whether that means you need to move away from people using, or if you start craving badly , you go to a meeting. You have the choice of both recovery groups. Its time for you to enjoy life, get back with your sons, when you are strong enough to do it. Tony, time takes time, you will continue to change your thoughts on things. I am so proud of you. It really gives you a whole new life, being clean and sober . Most drunks die drunk. Sobriety is for people who want it, it don't work for all the people like us they need it Tony, most people don't know that more drunks die in withdraw then drug addicts . We are truly gifted to not have to suffer, any more. I am so very sorry for your lose. My niece, suffered with depression and she thought drinking would numb her pain, instead, she took her life. Please remember your not alone, and don't ever have to be alone again. Wishing you a long , good sober life. Your worth it.
I don’t know what you might be going through Or what situation you’re in right now but I no god is there for you and he loves you God bless everyone who came across this.🇧🇸❤️
Tony had a very tragic, traumatic early life. God bless him if he can stay clean but he also needs to find a passion where he can use his experiences, talents and his knowledge to make legitimate money and help others. God bless Tony in his recovery.🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing your story with us today. Interesting to hear that alcohol withdrawals were more difficult. You are strong to do detox x2 substances on your own, Wow. Keep your focus on all you've achieved! Be well 💜
Keep it up tony ! We believe in you… you sir, are worth it. This past September I walked through 3 years in recovery from fentanyl, cocaine, alcohol and nicotine, 1 day at a time. It’s possible, you just have to want it more than anything else, for your very life depends on it… Stay safe and continue to keep making the next right decision. May god hold you in the palm of his hand.
The other day some commenters had an issue with me calling out that runner lady who wanted to be famous but kept going on about being humble. My man Tony here - he is humble. The contrast is striking. One can feel that he has learned from his past and has a healthy view on what truly matters in this one “precious life,” in his words. I’m sorry about the sudden loss of the love of your life, Tony. I pray her spirit is free and that you also remain free from what held you captive.
Tony keep doing or setting goals that keeps you solid and happy with yourself…trouble will always be around the corner but when your strong mentally and healthy you can move thru the troubles and end up on the other end of it! 12:51 ✌🏼🙏🏼❤️

Sending good vibes only brother...... We are in Los Angeles..... There are a million meetings and groups to choose from which will come in handy and assist personal growth.... So grateful for you Tony, you hit the points spot on. Continued success, stay on your path, and you will see what your purpose is, I think in time it would be helping others. You have a great attitude toward your recovery and staying clean. It is powerful. Thank you Mark for these stories of recovery, they do help I believe. and again than you for what you do.
Good for him. Addiction is a tragic road. Praise God I escaped the darkness and now work on walking in the Light. What Tony needs is be a servant of Jesus and help others who are where he was and lead them to Jesus. Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Almost exactly Tony's age, still using but I agree with his concluding lesson: life is short. Got more regrets for things I didn't do than things I did...
Bottom line: "I like the sober Tony... alot." I love that line. I wish the very best for him. I think his future bright. Challenging, but bright.
