I have had the honour to see REM 3 times in the UK, everytime they were beyond perfection, if that is possible, I have seen Iron Maiden 10+, Metallica 5+, Van Halen, with DLR and SH, ACDC 4+, the only other artist I would put alongside REM is Leo Kottke, for crowd interaction and kindness.
