I find you entertaining to listen to and the conversation style discussion. I'm onboard for whatever direction you head. And most importantly, congratulations on baby #4. That's awesome, as a father myself, I can say you should do whatever helps you get into a great mental state! Send it Rob...I'll catch what you're laying putting out there! I'll try to drop an order in once you're live to help support. I'm trying to get a "micro" roastery together myself, mostly to try to break even on my coffee consumption.

I know the struggle of having to nitch down to please the algorithm, but I will also say that sometimes having content that shifts around isn’t entirely all bad. I think many of us who are creative and have exceptional ability in a wide variety of things, need room to be able to shift gears once in a while. Jen and I have always enjoyed watching your videos, especially the different ways to roast and brew coffee and your vlogs. I am also hoping to get my channel back up and posting. I just dusted off my R5 last night actually. My revenue streams are slowing and above all I just really miss it!! Anyhow, here’s to grinding! ☕️ ps. I commented under the wrong vid the first time 😂
Haha thanks brother! I’m sure the R5 is missing you too! That’s a beast of a camera. Ya the content stuff can be frustrating with RUclips. I know the way to get views it how to’s and product reviews but it feels so fake after awhile. Mixing in a good combination of interests and products is going to be my next move. I enjoy the hell out of the creating process but its a ton of work for very minimal reward. At least until you get to a certain level it seems. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff. I may need to go and find you to get you back in my algorithm! Haha you know how that thing works..

I do yearly iPhone preorder and unboxing and I always get tons of views and new subs, but it can be stressful. One year, I backed into my garage door when I left for work... lol. We did this random tent review. Super easy edit, and that one is still my most popular, highest earning video with the amazon and it's completely outside of my niche lol. We'll be sure to order some coffee once your online stuff is back up!

My latest hurdle now is bags... thought I had it all figured out... months and months of planning... went to order Hot Stamped bags from PBFY only to find out they won't stamp my logo to the parameters that I need on the specific bag that I want. Never thought that would be an issue. Now I'm trying to get my brain back in bag planning mode. Ha! but not Ha! :)
Would love to chat with you on some ideas as I try to start my roasting business. I am starting very small, but also don't want to make the big mistakes. So I'm all ears if you are willing to share some wisdom. Thank you.
I love your stuff but man, you are all over the map! I think this is the 3rd "refocusing" in the last 2 years. As a corporate performance coach, my strong advice would be to learn to focus. You don't need to pivot every time you read a new book or hear some new philosophy. Learn to filter and make small adjustments to your base direction/vision. Making a major pivot every year is exhausting and unsustainable. Not every move has to be significant. It's okay to just live life. Congrats on #4!
