Dude, you're one of the best guitar teachers here in YT, I swear to God, especially on those acoustic songs ! This Eric Clapton's classic, your performance was almost perfect...:) Thanks so much for all your lessons.
Thanks so much for all your lessons. Been a great help to improve my playing. How can anyone not like your lessons beats me. Keep them coming. Thanks once again. God Bless.
Dagnabbit!!!! I just KNEW the funky guitar part was played at the 12th fret but my chord theory ass said, No - it *must* be an E9 shape at the 7th fret but it never sounded right when I played it myself :-( A superb tutorial, M'sieu!
Note by note thats great..subscribed .thanks for this licks and all fills in this song. Another good staff i've learned. Thank a lot stay safe...God bless
You are awesome. I'm digging this master enslavement of these death threatening mind entrapping blasphomously delicious guitar riffs served up with your instantly engaging and understanding cost friendly instructional style.
I have listened to at least 50 different bands at night clubs play this song. Not one single guitar player played the solo like Eric Clapton. They all just jammed it out including me when I played it. A lot of them were great bands too and played a lot of solos to different songs on the money but not this song.
No need to watch the other guys lessons for this song. All aspects are so well covered. I just will have to remember to sing caffeine instead of cocaine when the grandchildren are around.
It would be super if you could make a video talking about this guitar. I think the LP Studio are very underrated but they are crazy instruments instead!
awesome lesson ive been working on it i like your teaching method.ive never taking lessons was always nervous about most teaching.how can i learn from you is that possible?also what vocal system are you using i want one.
several options ..... each is increasingly more likely to hook you deep, enslaving your CNS She don't Lie, ... She robs your Soul. and then you're done for
I have a Les Paul studio like yours but it has P90s. The frets are high and sharp on the edges. I never play it, my Epiphone Les Paul is beautiful I play it all the time. How is yours?
Hey man, I appreciate your work, love, dedication and willingness to help so much! I want to wish you and everyone else all the very best while I thank you for all you do! Obviosly I love this song in particular and lastly: I hope you make more than enough money to live on with this because if you don't do what you love, you'll get sick ... a dis-ease like cancer or whatever else. You'll achieve anything you can imagine yourself achieving but not that, which you can't see yourself achieving .. that includes a happy camper life, a middle class life, an upper class life or diseases which you get by stressing yourself the fun* out! What a rampage this became but if you read all of it, anyone of you, I appreciate you, your time and I wish all ya'll health, success and happiness :) Peace and Love from Mainz, Germany Lukas Lehmphul ;)
thanks for the detailed effort putting together a lesson note for note & the explanation really appreciate the effort put into the lesson, thanks alot keep rock'n /peace\Jay.

Please let me know what you use for your audio setup. Do you use a DAC and amp imulation software? What mic and mixer do you use? Awesome audio, great tutorial! You arr very talented! Thanks for doing what you do! Always great to see people helping others to improve!
+Don Cooper hey Dan, I'm running a firestudio 26/26 into logic with a iMac. I'm a pretty big believer that mic placement, and the room you're performing in are more crucial than the quality of the mics. So I stick with SM57s on my fender supersonic amp, and use a little compression, and additional reverb in post production. I'm especially partial to CLA plugins, but never amp models.
+GUITARTROYA most of what you’re hearing is the goodness of my fender supersonic amplifier. That’s responsible for the overdrive and reverb. I believe I used my Boss digi-delay for just a bit of slap back. The rest is just a CLA plug-in for EQ, and compression, which makes it sound much punchier and detailed.
Great lesson as always. I'm confused about why Clapton uses E minor Pentatonic for song that's in E major (Not G major). In other words, why isn't the first note of the main pent. pattern C sharp instead of E? Thnx.
Hey Anthony, I'm usually going straight into my fender supersonic with a healthy dose of reverb. Occasionally I add a bit of slap back echo using CLA plugins in logic pro, certainly a little compression and EQ. Best. -Rob
Awesome playing and teaching. I haven’t seen anybody on RUclips that teaches this good and clear. Thanks for all you do

never found a video where I could hear and learn the two guitars of the solo, but SEPARATE!
I have listened to at least 50 different bands at night clubs play this song. Not one single guitar player played the solo like Eric Clapton. They all just jammed it out including me when I played it. This song is the reason I bought a guitar
Great lesson!!! One small mistake though ... At 32: 45 the scale on the high string hits 7th (not 9th) and 10th fret as you say.
Question Dude ? Tell what kind amp you jamming with& settings. And stomp pedals .

Exelente leccion,muchas gracias!!!
I love this thanks bro
very helpful,,,man,,,,thanks for the video
Amazing!
Hi,
The tone of your guitar is perfect, what pedals and effects are you using?
Thank you!!
COOL LOVED IT
Thank you
excellent lesson,as always
Great lesson as always. I'm confused about why Clapton uses E minor Pentatonic for song that's in E major (Not G major). In other words, why isn't the first note of the main pent. pattern C sharp instead of E? Thnx.
C# and E are connected because they have the same notes. Thats why he can play among them. Also E m pent does not include all not in e minor scale
Cool! What kind of effect do you use for the guitar?
Hey Anthony, I'm usually going straight into my fender supersonic with a healthy dose of reverb. Occasionally I add a bit of slap back echo using CLA plugins in logic pro, certainly a little compression and EQ. Best. -Rob
Awesome thanks for the tip! Love that sound!
The right equipment isn't everything, but it sure helps!
