This exactly! In a lot of more recent Kpop songs experimentation has been completely switching genres mid song and calling it a day, which I haven't personally been a fan of. It's clear here that they are understanding what made this genre of music successful in the first place and creating a version of their own that respects the genre. I hope they continue doing that.

There are several credited writers and among them, 2 are from latin america, like Isabella Lovestory or Paulina Cerrilla. Isabella is Honduran and Paulina is Mexican American.
I love how this is basically a reggaeton song with kpop sprinkles on it, if you check the credits you'll see Isabella Lovestory included and her influence is clear ✨
