Li3a - DAEDALUS (Official Music Video)

Hi everyone! I’m really excited to share the music video for my new composition, Daedalus. This animation brings to life the Greek myth of Daedalus (the father) and Icarus (the son) as they escape from Crete, where they are imprisoned.
Daedalus, a brilliant inventor and craftsman, constructs wings made of feathers and wax to grant them the freedom to fly away. As they take flight, Daedalus warns Icarus not to soar too high, fearing the sun’s heat will melt the wax. Overcome by the thrill of flight, Icarus ignores his father’s warning and flies too close to the sun. The wax holding his wings together melts, and he tragically falls into the sea below. It's a story of a father learning to live with the grief of losing his only child, but it's also a story of love that lives on and transforms everything around it.
