One of the best pacers squads of all time ! PG24, the bad man D West, Lance and Roy were different back in these days !!!
On god
an aggressive series all around. Well missed !!!
imagine a healthy Danny granger
As a heat fan, no other east team got me more nervous than indy
They could dismantle the heat with their bigs but it’s strategy and talent that made the heat take this series but it was a close one
That Indiana PG was DIFFERENT! Had his own kinda swag and was smooth with his moves (still, he's smooth). Him showing the hand to the opposition's defense and draining a THREE from Way downtown would always be one of the coolest moment! 💯
Truth
Facts
but still loss😆

Ffffffffffffff
Pacers were so stacked. that starting and bench lineup was criminally underrated
They don’t seem that underrated literally every comment is talking about them.
They were stacked but the superteam was even more stacked
@@invalidusername201 If a superteam is composed of 3 stars and average role players then lol
@@fabianc6025 1 superstar maybe 2, and 2 or 1 stars and decent role players isn’t a superteam tbh. They were defeatable. The warriors weren’t p
@@invalidusername201 The thing about the Heat is that the fit kinda sucks. Lebron was a ball dominant, non shooting forward(he's gotten better now, but still not elite) with Wade being a ball dominant shooting guard. Then you add Bosh who's best offensive output was 20ppg but had average rim protection. Add all of that with a mediocre bench (elite shooters with no defense, and defenders that can't shoot apart from Rashard who's fighting for minutes with Bosh being the starting PF)
The reason why the Warriors dominate and the Heat barely beat play off teams is because they have more flexible players, better bench, and most importantly a superior coaching staff that could make use of the 2 best 3PT shooters in the NBA and a flexible 7ft scoring machine. The Heat were destined to be average in 2-4 years after Wade's knees turned into jelly. And the Warriors are probably going to win the finals this year
This is one of the all time classic series 🔥
Chris Bosh was such spetacular player, always at the right time and in the right place. I really miss watching him play
I Remember being in the 4th Grade Watching this Game man that heat Team was so fun to watch but that Pacers Squad that Year was Really Underrated
It sucks how the game of basketball just changed all of a sudden leaving Roy hibbert out in the cold
I'm a Warriors fan, and I think that Pacers/Heat in the early decade was one of the sickest rivalries of all time. I still feel bad that the heat always got the better of indy though. Would've been cool to see this Pacers squad to make it once.
This as well as those Chicago-Miami series. Always loved "prime" D-Rose. I put it in quotations because he was just 22, and we will never know how good he was gonna be.
I mean let's be honest pacers werent really a match for the heat superteam
@@invalidusername201 it could've been if danny granger stayed healthy
@@markelscott100 lmfaoooooooo you really said danny granger, you clearly dont understand what a superteam is
@@invalidusername201 u realise danny granger b4 injuries was a 20 ppg scorer that pg definitely couldve used
That game winner shot by LeBron is one of the most underrated shots of his career in my opinion
it's probably cause it was just a simple layup, but I agree it's underrated given the situation they were in that game
Well executed play by spo tho
@@swagg_legend2235 Excluding the fact that they were in GAME 1 of the EASTERN FINALS, it is not "just a simple layup." There were two point two seconds on the shot clock and he had to drive through Paul George who is a great defender.
@@Zoot004 this is definitely not a game 7
@@youngbrocc6244 Definitely.
i was still so young when i watched this game but i swear i thought paul george was the best player in the league. that man was crazy. had me rooting for the pacers
Miss this Heat team, good times
Simpler times
Now its better
they got a pretty good team nowadays too
We’re still good
Good times as if you didn’t just play a game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals…
This is equally both Paul George's and Lebron James' best clutch performances that I've seen.
Damn 9 years already time flies I was in 7th grade at the time
@XleLer damn I’m in 10th grade now. We were fetuses back then holy shit 💀

As a diehard Miami fan, I miss these playoff matchups. Indiana had a tough crew and I actually respected them. Good times.
Thank you for reminding people of LeBron’s greatness
If Roy Hibbert was in the game he would’ve sent that shit to the 8th row
W
LeFrozone got locked down by JJ Barea in 2011 finals
And also how great paul george on early years of his career
He's great, but he's not the GOAT
This finish to the game needs to be talked about more ! It’s one of my favorite clutch moments of Lebrons career.
This PG was a DAWG. That leg break changed him, which is understandable. If that leg break never happens he’d definitely be one of the best in the league still instead of a top 30 player
He attacked less ever since. Also he shoots a lot more. I know its because the game changed but man PG13 in indiana was way different
Yeah it changed into becoming top 3 in mvp voting lol
He came back better tho
if you think there are 29 players better than pg you're beyond saving.
Yeah he came back and had the best years of his career with OKC y’all niggas just be talking without even knowing what y’all be talking about
I miss prime LeBron maaan. Always attacking the rim and not settling for three's
I remember this game like it was yesterday. It was an instant classic!
Will be making a video that discusses the mindset that goes into reaching this level of success.
Who here is on the journey to self-improvement?
Absolutely love this rivalry. Tough physical defense from both teams.
Celtics rivalry was good also
Indy PG was the closest player to threaten the Heatles Era besides the Spurs team. The dude was a BEAST. Mad potential and the end of the big man era officially with Hibbert
I love these relive the final minutes of a game from past nba games
Such a good ass play by heat coach, had to rewind a couple times and watch it unfold!
if you watch the video, you can see they ran the play again after they used it during that game. Good tough finish!!
1:09 PG locks up LeBron AND Wade
One of the greatest buzzer beater winning shot of all time. GOAT!!!!
Layup?
Lebron isn’t the goat
It took him 1 second to get to the rim from the 3 pt line
@@BoringPhonger he is
@@therealwelfin it took him one second to get to the rim from the 3 point line could u do that in one dribble with this much intensity lmao
This rivalry back when LeTaking My Talents to Miami was on the Heat and PG was on the Pacers was UNDER RATED
Prime roy hubbert is a monster in the two years playoffs 2013 and 2014
This was not only an iconic gw it was also an iconic marv albert call
Ah yes the Miami Cavaliers
Cavs fucking wish. This heat team is top 5 all time
?
@@soggyciggy The title of the video didn't say Heat at 1st. It was Pacers vs Cavaliers
One of the cleanest game winners from LeBron ever
Imagine if PG never get injured in that team USA practice
Used to give Miami hell in the early-mid 2010s, miss this rivalry.
Anybody else wanted to rewatch the play PG was talking about on his pod?
Yup I just paused the show to watch this clip 😂
i had 16 years in 2013 and i remember those times when everybody was a Miami Heat Fan including me 🏀🔥🔥🔥🔥
You not a heat fan no more
Yup agree
The absolute BEST times to watch basketball. During lebron's prime :(
Why the sad face Lebrons still ballin
lebron is still the best player in the league. isn’t it the prime?
2008-2018 was his prime
@@feelikemorpheus6419 He is, but no where near as athletic as his miami days. The dude was unstoppable.
Yo that was crazy game ngl
James
D wade
Bosh
Allen
Favorite Heat team of all time
This is the MIAMI HEAT!!! Quit disrespecting my team calling them the Cavaliers
Man, indy and the heat couldve had a great rivalry going on there if pg never had broken his leg. I remember this series going 7 games and giving the heat all they can handle. Mind you this was lebron’s peak year and this was the big 3 greatest heat squad.
Fr. We probably could've seen a Cavs Pacers ECF in 2015 if he didn't get hurt
This is just 1 of many clutch shots/moments. There's a reason he's the 2nd greatest clutch performer all time. one of a billion talent that's for sure(respect from a spurs fan)
one of the greatest series of all time
good old days
Recuerdo ese juego como ayer especialmente esa última jugada de LeBron
Love those remastered
Damn! 14 years ago, I was in Highschool back then when this happened. I'm now 26 years old. I feel old man!
When you face the Heat, it’s simple you facing Spo and Riley.
5:00 Buzzer Beaters for two lebron james overtime
Tht was a great play by spolestra 💯
One of the best plays of all time. Clutch play in a game 7.
That’s one of the best game winners of all time
I love these old bron playoff moments, I miss him in the playoffs
Remember this game I was running around the house 😂
Props to Spo for drawing up that play!!
It was the same play he drew up at the end of regulation, they just went tho Bron instead of Allen ! Great play tho
Paul George was kinda almost like a Derrick Rose 💪🏼
Watched this live, unbelievable time
Back when Miami was called the Cavaliers
Old but gold
LeBron/Heat perfectly executed that game winning play. What a team. What a player.
This one is on coach spo....he knew how easy it is for the King to score at that distance from the rim with that much clearance from help defenders
Prime Lebron 🔥🔥
Heat big 3 vs pg
I read a lot of comments and not ONE person mentioned the play design by Eric spolestra it’s beautiful:
Okay mind you they ran the same pick play for Ray Allen at the end of regulation so he combines that respect from the defense puts battier (a shooter) on in bound for a possible pass back I.E (Villanova game winner) off the inbound then you hav cole clear the paint back to the the top of the key to create off ball attention while coming off a bosh screen who fades to the corner so you can’t really help off him Ray or battier at this point bron drives to his left which is his go to with a clear lane GENIUS play design.
Early 2010s what a time
Please post the 2010 lakers game 6 vs the suns, what an ending that game was
Had Paul George not broken his leg he’d be the mvp the next season ..
love how dwade get excite by that last shot
According the everyone tho lebron played nobody in the East and always had a cake walk.. anyone who watched the nba knows the heat and pacers series were never a cake walk.. but good, hard fun basketball.. my pacers prolly won’t ever be back in contention, and that’s fine, still love then
I miss these days
The greatest PG vs Overpowered superteam
I remember this series , nba wanted a game 7 so bad.
I still dont get why Hibbert wasnt in during the last play. Bron had a play prior where he easily got to the rim, yet they still go small for the final play of the game? If they won this, Pacers up 2-0 heading home would of been huge
This the Paul George Pat Bev was talking about on ESPN last week. Young PG was different , gave the Miami Big 3 Hell
This shot by lebron at the end still stings
Wow! Bron has always been clutch
Wow the only play you ever see is that PG tie 3 and Lebrons game winner. Crazy how much goes into the game that we forget.
i miss this indy team love to play them in 2k
PG24 and this gritty Pacers team was so fun to watch. Just hated that the bigman talent in the NBA was so piss poor we saw Hibbert as a top 3 center in the NBA because he was tall lmfao
Clutch Layup is so unreal these days
Pacers should have went to the Finals that year and won it all.
They would have lost to the spurs
They didn't too bad🤣
Real basketball
True
Facts. The early 2010s had the best style of basketball. Had just the right amount of 3s, mid range and layups that gave each team their own variety. Now nearly everyone just wants to jack up 3s.
What I miss here is how the crowd was wearing the same shirt color to show support on their team and that conference finals logo on the court.
They say Lebron ain’t clutch smh
One of the best conference finals ever
He had some good runs in the playoffs with Miami.
For the life of me I don’t understand why Vogel subbed off Hibbert at the end
Paul George 🐐
wow, pg was really clamping up prime bron LIKE THAT
Man, this was 9 years ago already? I saw this live.
10 YEARS LATER WE BACK
Gold old days
This last shot, I never thought he will make the lay-up because of how big LeBron is. But, 🤷. 💪
Pacers fan: it was frank Vogel fault for taking Roy Hibbert out on the final play.
Man, people have no respect nowadays, calling out the Miami Heat: the Miami Cavaliers and always reducing the whole team to just LeBron...
I think thats mostly new nba fans though. Or at least fans that kinda just leave context out of everything.
Eh. In the 2014 finals LeBron had little help clearly, and it's obvious LeBron carried multiple mediocre Cavs teams to finals.
After 1 decade he do it again vs younger players.
Damn lebron is a vampire
DO NOT SHOW THE SCORE IN THE THUMBNAIL
I miss when scores were 104-103 in OT !
feel sorry for the pacers they faced the miami heat prime boys
"Not a jump shot so it doesn't count." - Skip Bayless
Paul George was amazing then
Real playoff game !
He kept benching Roy. And Bron got a layup everytime
