High level look at setting up a Polycom Zoom Room kit with Polycom Eagle Eye IV Camera and TRIO 8500 or TRIO 8800

How do you connect the Trio microphone to the Zoom Room?

you need a wired connection or download the virtual usb from the polycom support page

Is Zoom preloaded on the Trio or is there a process to get Zoom software onto the Trio ?

Depends on the Trio you bought. You can update the Trio firmware to get the Zoom Room controller if it doesn't cone preloaded.

Zoom software for TRIO should be included in UC software 5.7.2 or later. I had upgraded via USB with an earlier build. Please review the following site for further details -
