- Uber considers India the innovation gateway into the developing world, CEO Dara Khosrowshahi told NDTV in an exclusive interview. He said moving out of Indonesia will allow Uber to be more aggressive in India. He also told NDTV's Prannoy Roy about his love for India, the future of the company and how Uber is changing the way people move.

Jitu Khatri :) NDTV approaching UBER for a story you are in your own world. I tell u how it works. Uber decides on their business plan and roadmap. Corporate communications engage PR agencies for news items that put UBER in good light. India being a key market for UBER they would have approached NDTV for an interview. UBER has to pay for the airtime. The amount must be huge for Pranoy to go personally for the interview else his one down.
The format would have been planned by corporate affairs and the questions are also planned in advance. For Pranoy its a customer meeting. :)

Vansh Vardhan Jha He is definitely a inspiration. Travis resigned as CEO after having tons of controversies. When Dara take over Uber was sinking because of this people started leaving Uber and not only this "The Alphabet" controversy" and his statement make a really good CEO.
It was Kalanick and his break neck speed to push Uber across all markets which made it what it is today. he was the one who fought regulations and laws, adn sometimes bypassed them. He was the one who dismantled cab unions and fought them.
It is Kalanick who had the vision to make Uber a global force which would force govt to change regulations. Of course he was controversial, so is closed software ended Apple. It is Kalanick who is inspirational, this is Management guy who will manage a company. It is kalanick who made Uber what it is today. Don't compare an Eric Schimdt to Larry and Sergey.
