Quite beneficial tutorial to learn graph editor. We are looking forward to see how to add key frames on the graph and make overshoot animations. Thank you, Nikhil :)
my graph was different every time while following your tutorials , after this video i realised i was working with value editor. This Video really helped me a lot. Thanks Nikhil😊👍
*This is to those who came to the comment section to see if this video is actually helpful* Yes, it is... I've been using ae for months and never considered learning speed graph because i thought it is hard. Instead i used an extension... But this video explains so simply!
Thanks! Not quite grasping your concept of spacing of frames. Can I confirm the *time* between frames *is the same* and that your example at 2:47 was showing the value changes over time? (i.e. close together = slow, far apart = fast movement)
I had to stop the video half way for this reason only, this is by far one of the best tutors I’ve found explaining this concepts. I do not know what type of water people in India drink but they are so good at teaching stuff, kudos. Thumbs up and new Sub 😅
I'm trying to use the animation tool for text to do character offset. I've set the character offset expression to wiggle(4,40). Character range is set to full Unicode. The wiggle(4,40) expression will express the range of unicode characters it cycles through. However I'm unsatisfied with the speed. The cycle speed it goes through all hte characters is way to fast. I want to slow it down. I'm going for corrupted characters but it's supposed to look like corruption of text on a really old 1980s IBM computer monitor. Obviously 1980s computers were rather slow so the cycle speed of the character offset must be slowed down. But i can't for the life of me figure out how to slow it down in after effects.
hello sirr i'm kuldeep, i have a trick for key frames, we are know when we are change linear keyframes in to easy-ease. but now i want to change easy-ease keyframes convert to linear keyframes then press cntrl and click on keyfram then change easy-easy to linear keyframs
Awesome explanation. Very well explained. But one thing I face when there are multiple effect's eased up animation and it gets difficult to adjust the handles when they overlap. Any solution to this would help. Thanks in advance.
This is great. Do you have any go-to values that you like to use or just find yourself using a lot for easing in and easing out? Like starting at 40% and ending at 80%? Thanks!
Hey nice video, I have a problem with the graph even when I activate it and set the speed graph on, it doesn't show the mountain line like you, it's just an empty grid. What do u think is the problem ?
Good little tut, the addition of echo to visualise was a great idea
