Here’s a theory: Becoming fleet admiral isn’t actually a great honor/increase in power it actually is a demotion in ability and turns you into a puppet for the world nobles/higher ups. When sengoku was fleet admiral he had to deal with the shenanigans & bullshit pulled by people like garp and when he resigns he becomes laid back and pulls shenanigans himself. I doubt that, it's probably just got more to do with the fact that being the leader of the largest organization in the world is an extremely stressful position to have. As the head of the Marines, it's only natural that Sengoku, and later Sakazuki, would be the one having to answer most to the World Government, and more specifically the Celestial Dragons, who aren't exactly known for being reasonable and easy to work with.
@@yedffgd yeah probably but it’s still hilarious to me that at first the idea of akainu being the head of the marines would turn it into some extreme terror only for it to be him going “everyone around me is a complete idiot” XD

the real mystery is, out of all the starwhats, why is sanji the only 1 that has had their mom and dad shown and being together (even tho im pretty sure sanji's mom wanted a divorce) in the same arc
because family will make the story more complex. As an asian, I would say that parents / family is big factor in our life. That's why many characters in Asian stories (that isn't family-centered) usually have only 1 parent or is an orphan. If they have a parent/s it is usually long and if it isn't, that means they don't care that much about their family.
@@midnighttots9218 i feel ya on that but, i just think oda doesnt have anything planned for the rest of the parents lol. also it keeps up with the theme. sanji is the only 1 that broke the theme at this point lol. so sanji can remain special until we have yassop tell us some things (my pick for when ussops mom get revealed)
We saw usopp's mum in syrup village, she died in the village that is why usopp lied every day that pirates are coming (hoping his dad will eventualy come to the village)
Well Nami's biological parents are dead, Usopp's Mom is dead and his dad is with Shanks, Brook wouldn't get much from his parents being shown when they were alive, we know that Franky's parents abandoned him, Chopper's reindeer parents didn't want him, Zoro we don't know much/anything about his parents, Robin's dad (if I'm remembering correctly) died and her mom died too, and of course we only know Luffy's dad and nothing of his mom. So that's probably why we aren't shown them, but maybe I am just thinking too deeply about this

Oh damn, that changes everything for The Revolutionaries and the potential outcome. From a glorified body recovery mission to potentially regaining one of their strongest members.
The biggest mystery in ONE PIECE that scares me is the fact that mud man knows that shirahoshi is Poseidon. I hope he doesn’t have the chance to tell Kaido or Big mom.
When Bell-mère one of the first mothers we've met in the series is so badass it tends to raise your expectations for other mothers. I'd really like to see more interesting mothers related to the Strawhats. Just for the fun of it.
Some of my personal crack theories: - Luffy inherited Conqueror's Haki from his mother (whoever that is) - Mihawk trained with the giants (this is why his big green sword blast looks so much like Ikoku Sovereignty) - Because Buggy was part of Roger's crew, he knows any number of things (where Raftel is, what One Piece is, or even the secret of the Void Century) but he's too preoccupied with being a clown to do anything with this information
I am actually less curios about the moons themselves than the concept of space pirates, where they come from and what their importance is to the world of piracy as a means of living within this world.
Or the moons dont interact with other moons? Maybe they just seem like one? Hrmm.... you do have a point. But that doesn’t explain the probability of other “alien” parents
Yep, also all characters in-universe call it "the moon", so they only know 1 moon. Either that planet isnt the One Piece world, or the world used to have more moons but not anymore. It would have come up by now, especially with tribes like the minks who interact so strongly with "the moon".
Parentage and past relevancy in One Piece(main crew): Luffy- we know pretty much everything except for this mother, which might be relevant in connection to Dragon. Zoro- we do not know about his true origin, we meet him as a green-haired 10-year-old boi showing up at a dojo out of nowhere and is extremely driven to become the strongest even before the vow and death of Kuina. his true origin and parentage(even if they are dead already) are likely to be relevant in the future, maybe at the last act of Wano. Nami- Parentage not important, no problem that she is truly the daughter of regular civilians who died in a war. Ussop- we know pretty much everything. Sanji- now we know pretty much everything. Chopper- irrelevant, aside from blue nose he was just a regular reindeer in a regular reindeer herd. Robin- we know most of it, who is her father and what exactly her mother was doing(when she sought the truth of the void century) isn't very relevant. Franky- parentage most likely unimportant, just some regular orphan picked up by Tom and we know everything from there. Brook- Parentage unimportant, but more about his past before becoming a pirate or during his pirate life might be shown later(although not likely). Jimbe- parentage not important so will likely not be ever revealed. we know enough about his upbringing on Fishman island from the Fisher Tiger flashbacks. Carrot- not an official straw hat but meh, anyway her parentage doesn't matter and unimportant. lived her life happily on Zou until Jack arrived. Yamato- we already know pretty much everything that is relevant about her past even if it's not a lot, but more might be revealed in the future.
"By the way, can you poop?" and "Do you mermaids poop?" courtesy of luffy one of the mysteries still unanswered and has a high possibility of never being answered
The saying "No rest for the wicked." comes to mind whenever I hear that shudder-worthy rumor factoid of Blackbeard never sleeping. Just like people speculate Blackbeard is multiple people in one body, enabling him to consume multiple Devil Fruits, they speculate that he doesn't need sleep because one of the two (three?) people in that body is always awake at any given time.
I feel the same way about Sanji and Zeff, kinda hated them retconning the evil science-nazi/power ranger upbringing plus clone army stuff. There's no way the Sanji we met in East Blue had witnessed all this crazy shit.
One mystery in one piece that is very interesting is the emerald Island. Before the Crew was on sky Island they met in the bar bellamy who said that the one piece, shandora and the emerald Island are all Myths and doesn‘t exist now we know that the other 2 exist and that is a reason why the emerald Island exist some People are saying that this Island could be wano kuni
Actually now that you talk about PARENTS it’s interesting why all the strawhats have been abandoned at some point in their childhood and someone else took care of them
Because I doubt if they had been raised and cared and loved by their parents, they would still think to leave their hometowns and become pirates at a young age to travel the unknown seas where danger obviously awaits, or something like that. Idk this is fiction anyways😅 In Doflamingo's tone, you could say " Kids who have been abandoned and kids who have never been will have different values." Maybe Oda made it so for the setting of the age of piracy to work in this story
I can't wait for the cold open chapter with zero characters we recognize, a plot that continues for 2-3 more chapters, and we figure out it's a Kaido backstory right before we go back to the rooftop.
After watching your video, I noticed something with Blackbeard and his missing teeth. He is consistently missing 0, 3 or 4 teeth. And they are not only missing, but ALWAYS missing in the same space. I looked at a lot of panels and it is consistant. I know that someone brought that up already, but I just noticed it first time and this, more or less, proves that me must have 2 other people within him. He most likely switches between them whenever he wants, would also explain why he can obtain multiple devil fruits.
Have you ever thought about doing anything on the cover stories? Like a review or maybe missed details, anything honestly just recently read them for the first time and I’m interested in learning more. Thanks so much love the videos.
The more intriguing thing about BB for me is how does he attain the knowledge of his DF and its powers to enable hin 'eat' more DFs to going so far as killing his own crew mate. You could say he has a connection with Xebec, but i somehow doubt that
Actually the weird thing about Oden's sword is that it looks normal on Oden himself. I mean unless the sword creator measured Oden before making a sword for his size specifically, he would make a normal sized sword. And if I am not mistaken Oden received when he was small(a kid or teen) right?
1:59-2:06 Laughtale Confirmed ? It'd make me laugh if i realized that after spending the last year of my life trying to uncover the secrets of the world i inhabit only to realize there's an even bigger one out there waiting to be discovered.
I believe there's no greater explanation for it tbh I think its just a way of showing the supernovas go on their own impromptu adventures just like the Strawhats
I mean maybe. At the same time, there are so many characters that could easily destroy an island and leave no trace. It could have sunk, it could be in the sky.
There are a lot of potential answers. Both Shiki and Kaido could have moved it Whitebeard could have sank or moved it. Someone huge like Oars could have done something. Hell, Roger, Garp, and Xebec are all likely powerful enough on their own to destroy/sink an entire island and we had a threeway fight between those monsters centered on God's Valley. It could have been an ancient weapon, both Poseidon and Pluton could do it both a specifically stated to be able to destroy islands, and we don't even know what Uranus is yet but I'm sure it's on that same level. Then it could have easily been anything else, from a devil fruit we haven't seen yet, to a natural disaster. Heck I can even see Oda pulling something crazy like the previous user of Pudding's fruit just changing everyone's memory on where the damn thing is.
@5:07 I used to have this theory during WC about Nami's biological mom. To me it was tied to how she could use the vivre card. I thought Nami was a daughter of Big Mom, making her and Lola biological sisters but something happened where the marines had a coflict with the BM pirates, and baby Nami wend overboard, saved by Bellemere
It's hard for me to believe that the planet shown at Ohara is the One Piece World or that the One Piece world is taking place on one of the moons, because if that were true we should have seen some of these bodies in the sky at night, wich we never have. I would suggest that the model shows a different planet of the Solarsystem wich has a lot of moons similar to Jupiter.
Hey that part where they showed the mysterious floating moon looking thing that bege encounter might be one of the moon's if u think about it. But i don't think it make sense for them to have a solar system that isn't theirs lol
2:30 Black Beard has not consume 2 devil fruits, he is wielding 2 Devil fruit powers and that implies that he knows how Vegapunk can make objects absorb devil fruits.
I love the intro to this video because I have a certain theory. Enma is able to drain its users Ryuo. It's the blade that can cut the bottom of Hell. Similar to its counterpart, the Ame no Habakiri, I believe this particular Great Grade sword has some kind of spiritual property that bonds with its user.
I feel so stressed out for Oda, the overwhelming amount of things he has to cover while he is rushing the story so he can end it in less than 10 years wow he must be pulling his hair out. I think either he will live up to his 5 year promise and just leave out a lot of things unansewered or he is going to take at least 7 more years probably more so he can explain all the important things
The 5 year promise is bullshit I feel. If arcs like wano, last upto 2-3 years. With only medium addition to the lore of one piece, I don’t see how the rest of the islands(arcs) can be covered in just 3 years. That’ll be way to rushed and leave a hell lotta plot holes
I feel we'll find out about Luffy's mother when Dragon's part in the story comes up, will probably tie into why he's at war and why he wasn't there for Luffy. I think the only other one that they made a deal out of not knowing the parents of was Nami because Bellamare saved them from a warzone where presumably their parents died. Given the ages I wouldn't be surprised if that also ties into Dragon's backstory, if it doesn't I doubt it'll come up before the end of the series. As for the person drinking with Crocus, the hat and hair make me think a skinny Kawamatsu
just a thought but i think the thing that capone encountered was uranus, if the theme of the ancient weapons sits right, one for under the seas, one for the surface and one for the sky, i dont think its impossible

Garp was offered the position multiple times but turned it down. This could definitely be the reason.
Well I feel like for a marine it would be extremely high honor, they're kind of there to do that kinda thing. It's just like with a lot of jobs, higher position means more stress and they have to keep up some sort of image. Fun idea tho

the real mystery is, out of all the starwhats, why is sanji the only 1 that has had their mom and dad shown and being together (even tho im pretty sure sanji's mom wanted a divorce) in the same arc
because family will make the story more complex.
@@anubisbeat we've seen usopps mum
Well Nami's biological parents are dead, Usopp's Mom is dead and his dad is with Shanks, Brook wouldn't get much from his parents being shown when they were alive, we know that Franky's parents abandoned him, Chopper's reindeer parents didn't want him, Zoro we don't know much/anything about his parents, Robin's dad (if I'm remembering correctly) died and her mom died too, and of course we only know Luffy's dad and nothing of his mom. So that's probably why we aren't shown them, but maybe I am just thinking too deeply about this

2. we ...kinda... know what devil fruits are
3. we know what the SSG is
4. we are about to learn a lot more about God Valley and we now know the sinister reason why the World nobles were at God Valley.
5. We are currently learning about the tragic life and times of Kuma and Bonney
Remember in drum island? Luffy told sanji he heard sometime in a bar that snow country people don't sleep. Could Blackbeard be related to that?
Shanks was the one that told him that. Thats why we see shanks saying it again in a flashback
@@starboyjadenn yes might be. But the question isn't about who told Luffy that. The question is why?? Why don't they sleep? Does it mean anything?

MY question is: How did one of the imitating monkeys on Mihawks Island get a sword that looks so familiar to Mihawks?
It's anime only
They probably made it
he copied it
I like to think Mihawk gave it to the monkey. He said something along the lines of "if you're going to copy me, at least do it correctly"
When Bell-mère one of the first mothers we've met in the series is so badass it tends to raise your expectations for other mothers. I'd really like to see more interesting mothers related to the Strawhats. Just for the fun of it.
Some of my personal crack theories:
- Luffy inherited Conqueror's Haki from his mother (whoever that is)
- Mihawk trained with the giants (this is why his big green sword blast looks so much like Ikoku Sovereignty)
- Because Buggy was part of Roger's crew, he knows any number of things (where Raftel is, what One Piece is, or even the secret of the Void Century) but he's too preoccupied with being a clown to do anything with this information
Buggy didn't go to Raftel, obviously the ones who did go there could've told him or shanks but who knows
I am actually less curios about the moons themselves than the concept of space pirates, where they come from and what their importance is to the world of piracy as a means of living within this world.
We never saw two moons at the same time nor did anyone ever refer to the Moon in plural. That is a geocentric system until Oda says the contrary.
I want to know who every Strawhat's parents were and where they are now.
But Kuma and Vegapunk are most definitely one of the biggest mysteries to me.

Parentage and past relevancy in One Piece(main crew):
Luffy- we know pretty much everything except for this mother, which might be relevant in connection to Dragon.
Trope standards dictate that Luffy's mother would need to be Im for the most dramatic reveal.
If sleeping kills Blackbeard, then Brook would be his worst enemy :)

The saying "No rest for the wicked." comes to mind whenever I hear that shudder-worthy rumor factoid of Blackbeard never sleeping.
They say the Tontatta's Land underneath the Green Bit is supposed to be the Emerald city but it's not confirmed.
Good point
I heard it first in a Rogersbase video btw
@@puckeringpickletoe3459 yes I heard that too but I don‘t like this theory
Ireland is the "emerald isle", so unless Oda is planning a St Paddy's day special I dont expect them to ever go there
Maybe that big stubby thing that Gang Bege was sucked up on to in the sky is one of those moons you were talking about at the beginning.
That's the last ancient weapon.
The drawing of Teach as a kid..... did Oda set it a night with moon out?
Biggest mystery.
Where does the string on Luffy's hat go when its on his head?
Have you ever thought about doing anything on the cover stories? Like a review or maybe missed details, anything honestly just recently read them for the first time and I’m interested in learning more. Thanks so much love the videos.
Kanjuro was given his fruit by Orochi when he revealed his family history to him and asked him to be a spy
Yep
I’m surprised no one corrected that
The more intriguing thing about BB for me is how does he attain the knowledge of his DF and its powers to enable hin 'eat' more DFs to going so far as killing his own crew mate. You could say he has a connection with Xebec, but i somehow doubt that
If a person eats heart of a devil fruit user, they get the same power. This explains BigMom's and Blackbeard's devil fruit
Actually the weird thing about Oden's sword is that it looks normal on Oden himself.
I mean unless the sword creator measured Oden before making a sword for his size specifically, he would make a normal sized sword.
And if I am not mistaken Oden received when he was small(a kid or teen) right?
I’m pretty sure he got it as a teen but he was already a big boy when he did

Random thought: someone pulled God Valley away like how Oars pulled islands

The greatest mystery I can think of is why hasn’t the Grand Line Review talked about the mid term results of the global popularity poll yet.
Well I can also solve a mystery why Zorro don't have a D because he gave it to hiyori.
I would so watch One Piece OVA's of the cover stories, it would be really interesting to continue animating even after the series ends.
What if Blackbeard never sleeps, because he only has eye for one dream and doesnt need any other dream.
2:30 Black Beard has not consume 2 devil fruits, he is wielding 2 Devil fruit powers and that implies that he knows how Vegapunk can make objects absorb devil fruits.
If I remember correctly Oda once said that luffy's mother is alive that means we might see her/something related to her in the future
I think he meant Dadan.
Blackbeard has 4 teeth and that’s how much devil fruits he can eat.
You should do a video on ‘Things that need to happen by the end of One Piece’ Like Im’s identity, a joyboy flashback, luffy’s df awakening etc.
Grand line back it again :)
1:56 okay that's actually mind blowing because I'd never actually considered this possibility
He's not rushing Goda knows exactly what he's doing
Could also be God’s Valley. It disappeared because it started floating lol
