  • The talk is about immersed boundary methods. The first part deals with applying the immersed boundary projection method to a model problem where we studied the aerodynamics of the cross-section of a species of flying snake, Chrysopelea paradisi. The second part of the talk is about the analysis and development of a fully discrete second-order direct forcing method.

I like that the first part explained the concept behind immersive boundary method simply. Thanks.

Congratulations for defending your thesis. I must say you have worked on a very interesting topic. Do you have some understanding on capturing heart wall contraction and expansion due to blood flow? I am looking forward for some tips from you.

Hello Anush, I really like the presentation. Although, I would like to know how did you incorporate the spatial accuracy globally and near the interface for your body. Overall I liked the presentation. I just had this one question. Thanks
